I didn't know juvenile and intermediate will not be in Nationals, is that from when, 2020?
And Novice, starting with 2020 Nationals: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...-s-nationals-qualifying-pipeline-more.103798/I didn't know juvenile and intermediate will not be in Nationals, is that from when, 2020?
While technically that is correct, there is a caveat. And Novice, starting with 2020 Nationals: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...-s-nationals-qualifying-pipeline-more.103798/

Attending Nationals for skaters at lower levels is also probably expensive and time consuming for parents, and interferes with children's school schedules, while children are not certain of their athletic future.I hate to be That Person, but I'm glad Nationals is getting rid of the lower levels. I'm perfectly happy with the retooling of the competition structure. Not that I don't love watching the kiddos, but I can't imagine that it was profitable for USFS and added another layer of logistics. And with all the new SafeSport restrictions re: changing rooms and whatnot, may be more challenging to implement successfully.

That was an excellent skate. Tennell is getting better and better. I don't have enough words to praise her. If she skated like this in GP events, she would be in the final, and in the Final she would be in top 3 (even without 3A). I see that she and her coach picked up a lot of good elements from last year's top ladies and included in her programme, and it looks great. She is a very straight-forward, hard working girl, without any gimmicks, games, and publicity stunts. Hope she wins nationals and medals in future events.Golden Spin of Zagreb SP result for U.S. ladies:

Her skating is improving, so I see no reason her PCS won't correspondingly improve.Mariah won the PCS portion in SP at Golden, slightly over Bradie.
Just a question (please no haterz) do you think Bradies PCS will continue to rise. I know some people think she is bent over too much but I do quite enjoy her skating.
As her head and back rise, so too shall her PCS.Just a question (please no haterz) do you think Bradies PCS will continue to rise. I know some people think she is bent over too much but I do quite enjoy her skating.
I think some of her choreography is designed to 'cover' this. She needs to address the posture issue. It will eventually affect her scores IMHO.As her head and back rise, so too shall her PCS.

Posture issues haven't affected Zagitova's scores, and her posture is just about the worst I've ever seen.
To you, but not to judges so far... Skaters who have speed often do bend at the waist... physics, aerodynamics, etc..She is bent at the waist but has a straight back. I guess that qualifies as bad posture.
