Just realized Schott will go as 7th ranked into Euros!
And who kicks her outta final flight?
R-Y-A-B-O-V-A! :drama:

While she would get a bit of a PCS bump in the final group, but I think a nervy skate is much more likely there for Schott there. If she skates clean in the penultimate group and slays the SP, she will make final group for the LP, which is more important anyways.

By the way, I'm finding talking about the penultimate groups at Euros more entertaining than GPF.

Power of3z3t...
Let me correct:
Power of 3lz - 3 - 2 - 1 - teatime- 3t!

As usual, when you're sane and sober, you're correct :40beers:

Quelle surprise!

JGPF Men FS

Sato. @rosewood come down in the abyss of #ttw and tell us who the coach was with him in knc! He is hands down the frontrunner for Tursy-POTS.
Mozalev. I just love his speed and glide. Awesome constant natural smile. I like.
Samsonov. I love my Slayer of Bears. Well, should I forget, someone reminds me please that this title is already taken, when I want to use it for LeDuc later the season
Gumennik. That end face, good lord ?
Grassl. Korzeniowski genius music. Poor kid.

And here I've been worrying about vice when he gets like that! :duh: :slinkaway

JGPF Ice Dance FD

GEO. The exile-russians winning. PMAOL.
USA. Kolesnik is such a star (@Hanna thoughts?) (((UKR fed))) This FD in this group is a demonstration though why age-appropriate music is a wise choice; I am a sucker for classics and Rach, but this for a junior team felt completely wrong. But, they will be the next big thing for the US.
Shanaeva/Naryzhnyy. Zhuk and her poser boys. Love his Hawayek-diva-attitude in the leader's lounge.
Khuda/Filatov. To quote famous #ttw words: HELL YEAH AND I TOLD YOU SO AND HE'S DAMN HOT AND SHE'S A STAR AND I'LL BE OVER THE MOON AND THEY'RE THE NEXT BIG THING!
FRA. If someone ever wonders, what it would look like if @alchemy void would be allowed to package and create choreo steps for a team, here we go: https://youtu.be/IHvH2hTqpQ0?t=1526
Smolkin. So effin' hot.

I still have hope an ice dance team will invite me to choreography my dream Bauhaus/Bela Lugosi Is Dead program for them. I don't know anything about "the rules" and "how the technical side works" but I have lots of ideas anyway. I will say that Reed/Ambrulevičius are about halfway there already with their program this season (which I love).

I have a self-imposed rule about not going into pbp threads when the comp is over. This is a good time to remember that.
The 3As are adorable on that podium. And Tina is there! :swoon:

GPF Ice Dance FD

FRA. Gap to the rest way too big for me.
C/B. Yes! Such a rollercoaster career for them. I can't wait to see them back on worlds podium. What a story that would be (from the chick I once could not stand at all!)
H/D. Bronze. Who would have guessed.
Stepanova. Once you got a glimpse of the wedgie you cannot focus on anything else.
CAN. After all the fake stage programs they have done in the past, I don't care at all that this is a FD 2.0 from last season, I'll take that.
S/K. I love this program (and Nikita in it) from the bottom of my heart  I don't care what everyone else is saying. This classic look, the intensity, I am caught from the first second to the last.

So MEEPOTS? :saint:

Yes, he [Filatov] just turns 20 at the end of the month, so he's got two more junior eligible seasons.

Khudaiberdieva/Filatov have 1 remaining JGP season because the man has to be 20 or under on July 1. All the Russian JGP Finalists and the French team have one more season of junior eligiblity. The Georgians will age out. Nguyen/Kolesnik have two more seasons.

GPF Ladies FS

Kostornaia. Happy.
Shcher. I have no clue why I always see her as the most vulnerable of the 3.
Trus. The guts. The girl is such a fighter, so not my cup of tea but I gotta love her for that spirit.
Kihira. My international angel of peace remains @Hanna .
Tennell. I like the new costume and miss Radio's unseen FS :drama:
Zag. #untilthebitterend. I will cheer so damn hard. The camera switch from the 3 happy girls in the leader's lounge to teary-eyed Zag in knc was hard to take :(

The ISU website says 21, so to me that would mean that he would still eligible for junior, should they want to continue at this level, for the next two seasons.

My biggest takeaway from the Grand Prix Final is that France is solidly the favourite for bronze in the 2022 team event at the moment, and the only reason we're not talking about them as a co-favourite with the Russians for gold is the giant gap between where their ladies can currently be expected to place.

They have to be under the age of 21 on July 1 of the year.

No. Only 1 season left.
Okay, that just don't make that clear on the ISU Junior Grand Prix page. I knew about the July 1 deadline, but thought it was 21 or under as of July 1.

The Series features some of the up and coming skaters of the world and provides young skaters aged 13 to 19 (21 for the male Ice Dance and Pair Skating partners) with the opportunity to compete at a high international level.

The wording is definitely not perfectly clear; by "to 19/21" they mean "under 19/21".
