Trankov has done that before. He said it happens when you get your arms out too far from your core when you throw the girl and your balance is gone and down you go. You're pushing her rather than assisting her into the air. Then you have to jump up and skate like hell to catch up to her again. But Marinaro's splat was much better than Max's.
 
Hopefully T/M are sitting on a beach and cackling right now. They shouldn't have screwed up so bad at Skate Canada, but if they're gonna miss out on the GPF, at least the other pairs who did go did them a favor and tanked.

That's all gotta make J/C feel really optimistic right now too.

Even Aliona and her newly postpartum self is probably at home going "wusses... I could do that better..."
 
Golden Spin LOC :wall: The pairs event is all sorts of OES goodness and I don't get to see any of it. :(

Also looks like good news for Serafini/Tran, they moved up tons of places in the LP. And wth is going on with the UKR pair? They were decent last season but now they have completely tumbled down in the standings. They're barely even 20 points above a pair from South Africa. UKR has birthed so many excellent pair skaters, but the ones they keep in their country they can't seem to support.

Maybe Sui will drop Han and skate with Savchenko instead.

Usacheva - Did she look that thin live? I was so distracted.
Sinitsyna - Discovery of this years JGPF; I was not impressed last seaosn and obviously did not pay much attention thus at jgp, I totally loved both her programs and the skating :love:
Lee - Those last 2 minutes are just everything :swoon:

Off to bed, seniors tomorrow.
 
The top 3 ladies were amazing :love: (the bottom 3 a letdown but alas)

I’m kinda digging this angsty mature lady vibe Zags has going on in her SP honestly. And I love to see her landing jumps like a boss with those boobs :respec:

Honestly Zags is kinda my guilty pleasure this season. The hunching is annoying but she has 2 interesting sexy programs with good costumes.

P/C. Leading TES with an almost fall in the element. Judging sucks. The program is fun though.

S/H. I miss rockstar Cong Han. He is somehow reserved this season.
P/J. Intentional doubles for the silver. That's the :gallopin1 -spirit!
M/G. I won't enter 'From Russia with love' anytime soon ?
B/K. I do not love them enough (for now) to ignore that totally shit FS program.
MT/M. The MESS list is building. Such a good choreographed program for them, if he would just not be so ungraceful in almost everything he does.
P/K. One day I need to know what he is sayin' in the pep-talk! Love the footage of it everytime :love: MESS is really building in this event :shuffle:
