2 euros spots.
I like Yamada too.
So Switzerland has better skaters than Germany right now :scream:
Yes, thankfully, but the title is prestigious too. Me too like Yamada. Poor Germany:( Since I started to watch skating mid 90ies I think Swiss girls have better results than Germany, if you compare. Thanks to Sarah Meier of course. Or maybe they are close, thanks to Shevchenko and Kielmann?

Russian thread is getting crazier each day. I have all these people on ignore, but I still managed to read out the discussion about Liza withdrawing from nationals to avoid being tested for doping in Saransk:rofl:

That is because 15 sane people felt compelled to respond to the same illogical comment. (One can't blame them, considering).

Except the fact that he is Fed’s only chance to get medal at Worlds

Hmm.

I don't know whether to say I question this possibility; or if things go badly (due to mistakes and/or withdrawals), then it's certainly possible Kolyada's not the only one. Shrug. It's the men.

Personally, I'd just take one clean performance of this new FD from Aliev. Let the chips fall where they may. I'd like to see where the chips would fall.

Dance: tba

This is just because you are disinclined to consider Popova & Mozgov's highly qualified application from Golden Spin. It is not every team that can completely muck up the first half of the pattern, implode the RD lift, and blow the second set of FD twizzles in one competition.

They are a lot, but heartbreak they ain't! ??

Good news from Italy. After Leccardi ****ed up big time Tornaghi jumped in and sits in 2nd.
Seems like we can still hope to see Guarnieri at euros, junior worlds or bavarian open :D

Ok, so apparently I have no life and so I looked up the results of Swiss and German woman at Euros since 1994. Switzerland is saved by Krieg, Meier and now Paganini. Germany's had many talents, but they vanished (Fitze, Stadlmüller) In recent years Weinzierl and Schott has been saving lots of the German honour! Dyrtr was good too. When Meier was injured, Switzerland was lost.

I might have missed some. Excuse spelling! At worlds I remember Ruh being 12th in 1999. Fitze represented Germany, she was 22nd or something ? of course Tanja S. won bronze at worlds in 1994:):)

Ok, so just to finish it I summarised one skater from each year-the highest placement-and got some numbers.

Germany: 297
Switzerland: 362

Germany wins! The years with Meier not present took a too hard toll on the Swiss.

:cheer2: to @Dobre suggestion to add Popova/Mozgov to the watch-list!
I mean.. bizzare choreo, stupid mistakes, their instagrams, ALL those exibitions, K&C shenanigans, Mozgov’s adopted puppy + they both are extremely nice people :)

To say the truth , I also agree with this:
They are a lot, but heartbreak they ain't! ??
But I don’t find half of the team members heartbreaking, so...
And here we are talking only about the watch-list, not the actual team

ETA: I'm now watching some of their other programs. I love the programs and drama, but are they always so slow? :shuffle:
It depends
I have seen them live two times - at last year Nationals and at the test skates this September.
I absolutely loved them at Nationals, they were fast and sharp there
But at the test skates they were indeed a bit slow and heavy, but, well , is was just the beginning of the season..

For god's sake, because now even @Ka3sha and @alchemy void stabbing my back and all the arguments mentioned above AND because last season Betty had by far the most stunning dress (which was ditched after 1 event :drama:), they are in (for their entertainment factor alone) with an special clause:

:gallopin1-Watchlist-Update

Watch List:
Ladies: Robertson, Karly
Men: Pulkinen, Camden New
Pairs: Panfilova, Apollinariia / Rylov, Dmitry
Dance: Popova, Betina, Mozgov, Sergey New*

*consideration for the real team is already lifelong denied

Somewhere in Lodz @shah peed himself just outta joy :D
