Tickets for sale or wanted

One first row ticket across from the judges at the 2018 US Nationals in San Jose. Senior Pairs SP/FS and Senior Dance SD/FD are available. Please IM me if interested.

I have one (1) remaining front-row ticket to the US Nationals Exhibition available for sale. The seat is in Section 115, which is at the very center of the rink. The exhibition is scheduled to begin at 6 PM on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the SAP Center in San Jose.

This ticket was part of the Platinum package and not priced individually, but tickets in the next-best "Red" price category cost $125 each. I am selling at $110, which is less than the Red-ticket price.

Please send me a PM if you're interested.

For sale, US Nationals: Two full packages except exhibition, seated next to each other. All events and practices, can't make the trip from the east coast unfortunately.

It's good seats, lower bowl, just to the side of where skaters come out and the K&C.

Section 120, Row 14, Seat 16 and 17

I paid $598 per package, not looking to make any money but would like to not lose much either.

PM if interested!

Friends of a friend have had an emergency come up and will not be able to attend Nationals. They have two all-event tickets for sale: Section 117, Row 14, Seats 6 and 7. From looking at the seating diagram, I think this section is across the ice from the Kiss and Cry, though I'm not 100% sure.

I believe you'd be able to pick the tickets up at a discount. The original price was $598; the package doesn't include the exhibition.

Please PM me is you are interested, and I'll connect you to the sellers.

Also available from a different friend-of-a-friend is one (1) Free Dance ticket: Section 117, Row 14, Seat 5. The event is scheduled for Sunday, January 7, at 12:30 PM. I think this is across from the Kiss and Cry, but I'm not sure.

It appears that the price for this ticket purchased individually would be $55. The seller will take $25.

If you're interested, contact me and I'll put you in contact with the seller.

Senior pairs SP and FD have been sold.

Senior Ice Dance SD and FD are still available. Center, across from the judges, Row 1!!! One Ticket for each event.

Please PM me for details :)

Senior SD ticket sold. Only the senior FD ticket remaining, center, Row 1!
Senior pairs SP and FD have been sold.
That was a typo. Senior pairs SP and FS are sold. Still have the one FD ticket. PM me if interested.

Going to give this a shot. Does anyone have a practice pass for U.S. Nationals they can spare? I don't think I'll be able to go to many practices since I'm arriving toward the end of the week, but it would be nice to have one should I be able to attend any of them.

I'm willing to pay, but won't mind if you are willing to give it for free. :D

Same boat as Mrs. P. Anyone not using a practice pass for Jan 3-6 (any of those days) I would be interested in using. Also willing to pay but would prefer free

Also, I have one pairs free skate ticket for U.S. Nationals. Section 114, row 18. Selling for $70, which is face value without fees.

I have one ticket for Canadian Nats Novice and Juniors. Jan 8, 9, and 10.
If you know of a young skater or her/his family that could use theses tickets please PM me.
I will be happy to donate them to someone in the skating community.

Ditto, but I have two tickets. Would hate for them to go to waste.

The seller of the two US Nationals all-event tickets I posted about earlier has decided to split up the packages and sell individual tickets. As far as I know, there are two tickets available to all sessions except the Senior Free Dance; both of those tickets have probably been sold. The seats are in Section 117, Row 14, Seats 6 and 7. From looking at the seating diagram, I think this section is across the ice from the Kiss and Cry, though I'm not 100% sure.

Selling price for the senior tickets (short program and free skate sold separately) is $25 per ticket (great deal!). I'm sure junior events can be purchased for lower prices.

I don't know what the plans are for the practice passes; I'd guess that some modest payment will be expected.

If you're interested in any of the tickets or practice passes, please send me a PM and I will respond with the seller's email address. I'll be heading out of town to visit family tomorrow (Thursday), so you may not get a quick response, but I promise to respond as soon as I can.

I may have a single practice pass for SAP Center at US Nationals available for Jan 3-7. I'm looking to sell them individually, probably for $10-15 day. PM me if interested. Would send pdf of the ticket upon receipt of funds through PayPal or other transfer.

I am in search of a single ticket for the 2018 Prudential US Figure Skating Champs-Ses #11-Senior Mens Free Skate. It's for me, I've finally committed to going to Nationals!

Edited to add - I have sent a PM to @acraven, but I didn't notice any other possibilities in my quick scan of this thread.

In between my last post and now, I decided to bring my sister along to the men's event and an overnight in San Jose. She'll do other things during the free dance.

I've purchased my two tickets for the men's free and I bought the one ticket from
@IceAlisa for the free dance. Thanks @IceAlisa and @acraven for your prompt replies.

As far as advice for using these forums, it'd be read carefully, pay attention, and be prompt with replies. Because I wasn't paying attention this morning, I came a hair's breath from buying my sister and I tickets for the dance free instead of the men's free - yikes!

I have the following all-event ticket for sale for the 2018 U.S. National Championships in San Jose, CA:

Section 101, Row 12, seat 6 (center section, behind the judges, my group is in seats 6-9 on the aisle)

Here's a link to the seat map. Red-price level, list price $898. Seats are supposed to be the first available row behind the judges' section. My friend is unable to attend due to illness of her beloved puppy. Please PM if you are interested.

This is an updated of the tickets still available from my friend in Section 117, Row 14, Seat 6 or 7, as of the last status report I received from her. She's selling the senior tickets at $25 each. The junior tickets and practice passes would be less. If you're interested, contact me via private message and I'll supply her email address. Quantity available is shown in parentheses. I'll be flying to San Jose on Thursday, Dec. 28, so there will be a delay in responding to messages that day.

Tuesday, Jan 2: Junior Pairs FS (2), Junior Ladies FS (2), Practice Pass (2)

Wednesday, 1/3: Junior Men's FS (1), Senior Ladies SP (1)

Thursday, 1/4: Junior FD (2), Senior Pairs SP (2), Senior Men SP (2), Practice Pass (1)

Friday, 1/5: Senior Dance SD (1)

Saturday, 1/6: Senior Pairs FS (1), Senior Men's FS (1), Practice Pass (1)

Well, I have a ticket I would love to sell. I am going to get to have some spiffy surgery instead.
PM me with an offer.

Section 114, Row 9, Seat 11 All Session Ticket Public - $898.00 (original price) - Does not include skating spectacular.

All,

What are your tips for buying tickets through a forum like this? Steps, what to do, not to do, etc.?
Since no one else answered and I love giving advice:

- PayPal or in-person cash or money order are the best forms of payment IMO. If you don't have a PayPal account it's easy to open one and all you need to send money is the seller's email address. It is instantaneous and the sender pays a small transaction fee. If I were selling, Iwould be hesitant about a personal check because there is a risk, even if it is slight.

- Arranging how to get the tickets you buy is harder. There is still time for mail, but not much -- you could ask someone to overnight them (Priority Mail Express) but that costs about $25. In-person is great, if possible. And it may be possible for them to be left at the box office, but there are all kinds of potential problems with that IMO. (This is not Lincoln Center!) The only way I have done a ticket handover is in person.

Maybe someone else has other ideas.

I have a ticket for US Nationals for the short dance. I'll be volunteering during that time slot so I can't make it. I'd much rather give it to a FSUer than sell it through SAP Center.

It is section 126, row 14, seat 8 for $25. :)

Also looking for a ticket for the men's FS or free dance. I'll be using my voucher for ladies FS probably.

I have tickets to basically everything except ladies free which are sold already, section 120 row 14 seats 16&17.

I am thinking $25-50 per ticket for the senior events.

Also practice passes (2) for every day. Those I will sell for $10

I will transfer my tickets and passes to your e-mail via SAP Center's ticket website which is the safest and reliable option, that way you can download them directly.

Seats are just next to both skater's entrance and the K&C.

Send pm if interested, thanks!

I have a ticket to the gala at Canadian Nationals in Vancouver on Sunday, January 14th that I won’t be using since I’m flying home earlier that day. Will sell well below face value to anyone who is interested. It is an e-ticket, so I could transfer it as soon as payment was received. Please PM me if interested!

I bought tickets for WC 2017 through this forum. I was in Europe, the seller was in Canada. I paid the seller by PayPal and got the tickets by email. No problems, it went great, I was very happy and thankful for the seller.

I have an all events ticket package I need to sell as I can't attend. It's a very good seat:
Section 127
Row 21
Seat 6

I'm offering the package at a greatly reduced price. Please message me if interested.

Following up on this post as LoisV is a friend of mine and can't attend. I am managing both our tickets and can sell LoisV's own ticket on a per-event basis on her behalf.

This seat is to the right of the judges, above the NBC booth, and to the left of the kiss-and-cry areas. It's near one of the corners but is more towards the longer, flat side of the rink so as to give a great perspective of speed, ice-coverage, and, of course, all the posing directed at the judges.

Here is the schedule and below are the tickets still available. I'm thinking that a fair resale price per event that would be a bargain for you and a decent recovery for LoisV would be as follows:

Dec 31st to Jan 3rd - day passes to Solar4America Ice - $10 per day
Jan 1, 2, and 7 only - practice passes for SAP Center - $10 per day
Jan 2 and 4 only - all junior events at SAP Center - $10 per event - update: junior men's free no longer available
Jan 6 - senior pairs' free at SAP Center - $25

PM me if interested in any single ticket (or more). Rest assured that all proceeds will get back to LoisV. I use PayPal and can transfer the tickets to you via the SAP Center website or via email/PDF.

Thanks for being kind enough to reply. I've just had two good exchanges with posters using PayPal and the arena's website to do a transfer.

Expert event attendees, I'm thinking about attending Skate Canada in 2018. If I wanted to do Men's SP/FS and Pairs SP/FS, should I just get an all-pass? That would only leave the gala, right? Is it more cost effective to do the package than individual events? Thanks!
