Mostly Insta and TikTok. It’s common for an insider or the person themselves (under a pseud) to start something positive, especially if they need to distract from something else. To be real, we should assume that most of the rah rah is started inside the circle and it has been that way since the very start of entertainment and sports media 100 years ago when radio was the way to reach a wide audience.Where

It's also an issue on Wikipedia, where they try to root out text written by people with skin in the game, positive and negative, and where they find a lot of living people trying to edit their own bios. (I think if you're supposed to put any changes on the talk page for a non-affiliated person to validate them and do the changes, if necessary.)
