I like their FD even better the second time around. It’s a great vibe for them and their lifts are gorgeous. I think they just need to get more comfortable skating it and need to work on their levels. It can be a real show-stopper by the end of the season.

It has to have been disconcerting for Maddie & Evan to skate all four programs this season immediately after P&C skate, and especially at home for P&C in France,with all the huge scores, not to mention the cheering..

Novi Ice Arena had an Olympic Banner Unveiling today for their teams competing at the Olympics. There are some photos on Facebook. (the most recently added) Here is the picture of Chock and Bates and their banner.

That was a great video. It is so crazy to think Igor didn't even have a place to go to after the Canton firing but he was able to quickly bring everyone to Novi and resume his career.
Evan is right about the 7 minutes. That's just crazy when you think about it like that. All those years of effort and sacrifice put in for those 7 minutes.

Definitely a flashy, sassy dress but are there feathers on the back? I guess the strips are to emphasize all her movements?

Igor had offers from rinks all over Detroit within an hour after he was fired. There is so much more to all of what happened that will never come out.

Good. Let it stay in the past. It's good to see both Marina and Igor still in the thick of things. I always say, they were better together. Even Marina admitted that she regrets that they cannot work together. Still, they are immensely talented and directly or indirectly skaters we've known

Hoping (against hope? ) that Madi and Evan get selected to do the FD in the team event. After placing first in the FD among the USA teams now for the second time in a row, they deserve to be there.

They were fantastic in the arena and really stood up to the pressure of the moment, especially after H/D's (also fantastic) skate.

I think their FD really suits them and you can tell they both enjoy skating it. I rewatched Under Pressure a couple weeks ago (I had to clear space on my DVR so moved a bunch of recordings to DVD) and while that was a great program, I think Imagine is more their style. I was initially bummed they discarded La La Land, b/c I thought that would have been a great vehicle for them, and when I heard about the Imagine concept (female voice added, Lennon voiceovers), I cringed a little, but after I saw them perform it, I was sold. Love the choreo, loved seeing it live in San Jose, and hope they have an awesome skate at the Olys.

They look to be in perfect condition. They were moving fast across the ice, faster than I've seen them all season I think. Maybe the one stationary camera makes ice coverage and speed much more noticeable than the usual broadcast close-up and multiple camera-angles style of shooting.
