For the 2nd time today thank you so much !Here's the video. Chock/Bates starts around the 1:45 mark.
They look to be in perfect condition. They were moving fast across the ice, faster than I've seen them all season I think. Maybe the one stationary camera makes ice coverage and speed much more noticeable than the usual broadcast close-up and multiple camera-angles style of shooting.
Will they get to be in the Team Event? I hope since Evan was named Team Captain it means he is a cinch for the Team Event. We already know the Shibutanis will skate the short dance so hopefully Chock & Bates do the free.
It doesn't look like it.Alex and Alexa are the captains for the team event.
Well I hope it is either the Shibutanis doing both or Chock & Bates doing the FD. I don't want the gross Hubbell & Donohue anywhere near the Team Event, yuck. The U.S probably lose the bronze to Italy if they use them.
Come on, is it really necessary to badmouth H/D like that? I'm a fervent Shibs fan, but all three of our dance teams are fully capable of rocking the FD and securing that bronze medal or higher in the team event and the individual one. We all have our favorites, sometimes passionately so, and knocking any of them that severely is just in bad taste.
Please ignore the trolling posts...

Evan on how he and Madi got together off the ice - "I pretty much told Madi that I loved her."![]()
Here are some pictures. I saw one fan on Twitter describe Madi as a tropical bird in it.Have you seen their new SD costumes very bright! W/P have new ones too!

In the mixed zone, Chock revealed that she has been suffering from a painful foot injury all season, aggravated during the warm-up in a mishap on a lift.
"I have an osteochondral lesion in my foot which means there is a loose bone fragment in my joint that is being held in by the cartilage, and when that happened it jostled it more, and it doesn't feel good," Chock said. "I will have extra ice and PT today."
This was predicted :/ Hope they can skate the FD lights out tomorrow.
