Here's the video. Chock/Bates starts around the 1:45 mark.
For the 2nd time today thank you so much !

After watching it : way less hesitation into the twizzles, and their lifts are so impressive. Overall, they look very polished and trained, and while I was hesitant about that FD at its 1st showing, I'm not anymore, it grew really well. Bravo to them :GnP1:

They look to be in perfect condition. They were moving fast across the ice, faster than I've seen them all season I think. Maybe the one stationary camera makes ice coverage and speed much more noticeable than the usual broadcast close-up and multiple camera-angles style of shooting.

Will they get to be in the Team Event? I hope since Evan was named Team Captain it means he is a cinch for the Team Event. We already know the Shibutanis will skate the short dance so hopefully Chock & Bates do the free.

It doesn't look like it. :( Alex and Alexa are the captains for the team event.

Well I hope it is either the Shibutanis doing both or Chock & Bates doing the FD. I don't want the gross Hubbell & Donohue anywhere near the Team Event, yuck. The U.S probably lose the bronze to Italy if they use them.

Come on, is it really necessary to badmouth H/D like that? I'm a fervent Shibs fan, but all three of our dance teams are fully capable of rocking the FD and securing that bronze medal or higher in the team event and the individual one. We all have our favorites, sometimes passionately so, and knocking any of them that severely is just in bad taste.

I just hate Hubbell & Donohue's style. It is sex on ice. I prefer beautiful elegant dancing like Bobrova & Soloviev, Virtue & Moir, Papadakis & Cizeron, Chock & Bates, Virtue & Moir, Weaver & Poje, Capellini & Lanotte and others all show. Zach also comes off as a douchey personality type, not classy and modest. Like a giant fratboy.

Poor Emily though. My heart broke for her at the time, especialy after waiting a whole year for Evan. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes though. I do wonder if their unpopularity in the early years was due to that. I had thought it was because for awhile they were over the Shibutanis who are very popular with U.S skating fans, but I think in hindsight some of it was due to Emily S and people feeling bad for her. Who knows, but that they seem more popular now is probably since they have become the perceived underdogs as opposed to the fast risers who were arguably being pushed/overscored up until 2015/2016, and since it has been long enough people have accepted the whole situation regading Emily S.

In the mixed zone, Chock revealed that she has been suffering from a painful foot injury all season, aggravated during the warm-up in a mishap on a lift.

"I have an osteochondral lesion in my foot which means there is a loose bone fragment in my joint that is being held in by the cartilage, and when that happened it jostled it more, and it doesn't feel good," Chock said. "I will have extra ice and PT today."

This was predicted :/ Hope they can skate the FD lights out tomorrow.

Well, that's unfortunate... I still thought she and Evan skated that SD exceptionally well--and, would not have guessed she was dealing with a small injury. They were among only a few of the teams who really seemed to show the dancing and not just the skating. The dress was flamboyant and a little over the top but I thought their skating was right on point and would have liked to have seen them a little higher in the scores.

I love their FD so I hope they are able to bring everything to it. It sucks about the injury but they did great so far considering she was injured.

That sounds like it would be painful. Good for her for skating so well.
