I don't disagree but the Challenge Cup entries are already out and the USFS isn't sending anyone, so I think they'll just risk it with Ava and Lindsay.Sarah Everhardt could and should be sent out for World SP min (already has FS), especially if she is not named to the Jr Worlds team. With things looking a bit tenuous for Ava and Lindsay regarding injury recovery (lets see how 4CC goes), and Clare and Starr looking a little shaky at Nationals, I think Sarah actually might make the most sense for Worlds 1st Alternate assuming she can get the min score. I fully expect USFS to leave her off the alternate list altogether though, in favor of women who are struggling to land 2 clean triples in a free skate right now.
A top jerk. His own mother won the very first 4CCs. I still care about Ilia…but he’s Jerk of the Century.
Because that's the junior list...
Yeahhhhhhh... they are junior age-eligible and are therefore their results are included on the Calculation of Season Results table.what are you talking about Willis? You have Isabieau and Lindsay and Ava and everybody else on it
On the strength of last night's performances, it's very difficult to look past Josephine Lee and Sarah Everhardt.Whew... The Women, both Jr and Sr, are done! Selection Pool updates incoming!

Top 5 from the Calculation Table = Levito*, Lin-Gracey, Seo, Thorngren*, Everhardt, J Lee, Kalin
* - I doubt either Levito or Thorngren want to be considered for JWC so I think the Int'l Committee will take the next two
Top 3 age-eligible skaters from Junior & Senior Nats - Higase-Chen, Park, Nemirovsky**, J Lee, Levito, Everhardt, Seo
** - does not have JWC TES mins
Top 10 from 2023 Jr Worlds - Seo
Top 24 on current Jr WR - Lin-Gracey, Zhang
Jr Worlds Team Prediction - J Lee & Seo, alternates - Lin-Gracey, Everhardt, Zhang
Sarah perhaps, Josephine not so much. USFS doesn't put as much stock in having one great comp at Nats compared to the entire season's results. Josephine was such a hot mess last summer she WD from/had her JGP assignment pulled, depending on the gossip you choose to believe. On the strength of last night's performances, it's very difficult to look past Josephine Lee and Sarah Everhardt.
Bellu Memorial and Merano Trophy (Merano actually accepts late entries for anyone needing Worlds TES minimum) entry deadlines have not closed yet.I don't disagree but the Challenge Cup entries are already out and the USFS isn't sending anyone, so I think they'll just risk it with Ava and Lindsay.

Elycelol well Amber has just withdrawn from 4cc...who's the 1st alt??
They list the Alts in ranked order, so, yes, they'll go with Elyce ahead of Audrey and Starr.Do they have to replace people in order? I guess they don't have much time to make these decisions.
Hard to say to your top athletes that they can't go, particularly if they've planned their season with the travel, and competing twice in a short period of time. The upside to this sort of back to back competitions is they could be seen as a runthrough for the Team Event in two years.Seriously, as soon as the time/travel crunch for 4CCs was known, I suspected that the US would be sending a “get experience” team. Why USFS didn’t just select them from the get go confounds me.
I really believe we will have a WD from ChoBat before the end of the evening.
NBCI still don't understand if the USFS knew ahead of time that China was going to do this and move 4CC up a week why didn't they move Nationals up a week too so the US team could have some time to rest and get ready for it.
I mean, I'm pretty sure the venue had other things going on last week tooI still don't understand if the USFS knew ahead of time that China was going to do this and move 4CC up a week why didn't they move Nationals up a week too so the US team could have some time to rest and get ready for it.
lol well Amber has just withdrawn from 4cc...who's the 1st alt??
Four Continents is next week's problem - you'll get your fax on Monday as per usual.whatttt???????
why didn’t you fax me?
Sweets... you were at the gym and Trader Joe's and the news broke less than an hour ago...whatttt???????
why didn’t you fax me?
Not so far.I am now waiting for an announcement that Chock and Bates will not go to Four Continents. I haven't missed it have I?
Aren’t you thinking of Soho? Josephine competed at the second JGP in AustriaSarah perhaps, Josephine not so much.
