(Re: the lips - I think she got a bit of work done around the end of 2017, and she wasn’t wearing her usual bright lipstick. She also grew out her hair and had it pulled back, so that changed her look too).

Ignatov on podium, OMG, by 0,63! We saw him here first! (I wasn’t sure he would manage to continue after his choreo seq, he was so totally dead by then)


Our boy zayaked the lutz There’s always something. At least he didn’t skate into the boards. GPF next I hope!

Samarin’s ace combo is wild, his power into it is unmatched, wow But comparing his moves to Litvintsev, who I keep gushing over, poor Bossman’s fave falls short. Litvintsev moves like a ballet dancer - his head, arms, hands, wrists, the way he holds his back...I love him!

And #finger didn’t let us down. So present. And Smirnov looked dead good out there. I’m happy!

BTW All Russian podium? It’s been a while! Memories of Yagudin, Plushenko, Abt days...

Love Litvintsev too! Can we add him to the team or at least watchlist?! I mean he skates for AZE, he had a novice lady score in the SP but then quite a good score in the FS. He has quads, his hair is interesting

Also hooray for S/S slaying and getting a PB in the FS! Moving on up. Also, if there was any doubt, Shpilevaya has the best rack in skating now (sorry Leonova). Smirnov still needs to fix his hair tho
