Do any of the million montreal ice dance coaches count as minions? I would have said Romain Haguenauer in the past but right now he seems to be the head coach of more teams than anyone else.

Pascal I would say plays a bigger role. He's an on-ice coach and travels to competitions frequently, whereas Gigi is a ballroom choreographer who works with them. Pascal's lowkey, but the skaters in interviews mention him a lot.

If his ultimate goal is to make it to Olympics I think in the long run this is the right choice. Better chances to stay in the 16th-20th relatively weak pair ranks than in singles where every year is harder to make the cut.
