Right, "Je Suis Malade" is a melodramatic song but seriously--- did anyone count how many times he grabs his head during the program? When he finished, it looked like he was flushed red from a tantrum.

So, made it back to the hotel; I am still alive. I was worried with all the ladies and I have to admit: someone like Perkova would have lighten up this competition a lot :D

I already talked about the nun and ecstasy episode, so now to the actual skating:

Ladies:
Matilda: So happy! She hold it together and I hope her season goes on like that. Sorry Joshi! But Swedish Fed made the right chocie!
Weinzierl: Mrs3lz2t :huh: Skating to 'Caruso' is death to my soul. It's one of my all time fave male programs by Denis Ten. Overall I was kinda :huh: at the big score. #teamschott #lightnessofbeing
Viveca: So boring. Though she fought hard on that combo. Of the Top6 in the olympic race she is the one I absolutely expect to falter big way tomorrow :watch:
Isadora: So happy for her :encore: Hope she can hold on in the FS!
Anna Line: Boring. So @SmallFairy , I know it has been a tough road, but not entertained I was.
Freed: Loved Chris hugging her very long after the SP, and that's the best about it. AUT fed made a mistake sending her.
Golovkina: Oh my :drama: I love her skating, so stunnign! A shame the jumps are such a mess.
Queen U: Well, I would have killed for a live on stream on Lil'Sis. What the hell was Czech fed thinking, what the hell? :wall:
Grm: Puh, that was tough too watch. But as I said, I proudly cheered the music cut with a girlish scream, unfortunately there is no video proof up to date :D

The good thing is, Queen U and Grm have skated at least that decent that I might be able to skip group 1/2 tomorrow. Just in case of course :D

Empress: that program can be great but puh. a lot needs to be done. and i can't get rid of that feeling that aliona just will have that non-gold-scenario again at olympcis. i just can't help. :drama:
GER#2: Death to my soul, of course :drama: Especially as they scored than he ever did with Mari iirc. But I admit, the SP I am no fan, but the FS works great for them; they have some nice choreo, the elements are put well with the music, were executed great, and the best of all: ruben was great. he looked totally different than with mari in his presentation, lovely smile to end; maybe it was just meant to be :drama: I fear H/S's chances making it to the olympcis are already reduced to Bruno failing the test :EVILLE: But: it would be great, if Hocke actually starts presenting in a different way than grinning all the way through the program, even during julia's death ;)
USA: LeDuc oh yes :smokin: (I ignore the fact that I heared his voice actually today, I just ignore :EVILLE:)
ISR: That knc was everything! Loved it! The program itself, well oh my. :shuffle: But everyone knows I have a secret crush on his looks, so... :P
CZE: Oh boy, the puppy almost broke my heart today. WTF :drama: I shoudl rewatch if this is a :gallopin1-POTS-shortlist-candidate. So happy he made it! Yeah and her :D
 
Men:

Jorik: Now this was very underwhelming in regard of the drama he presented in the SP. But nontheless, I like his skating, some quad or at least 3-3-3 (like van der perren) would be nice.
Babyrizzo: Oh yeah :encore: He was shitty nervous again, you could tell! @levineismine was so sure he makes it , I already feared she jinxed him. But as mentioned, for once I led the happy clapping and he made it, yeeeah!
Paniot: I have to correct myself; I don't care if it's him or Pavlov making the olympic team, but I am really happy one of them will actually go. That was a big ball skate today. And the best about Paniot: he sat in the audience after his skate with reznichenko and they were cheering loudly during joriks skate for him and were the first one to stand up for some SO after the skate. Loved that :respec: #softieboss
Oddvoll: well, what's there to say? :rolleyes:
Maierhofer: gets a mention for the most awkward moment as he got his hair done in the lobby by an older lady (maybe his mother), sitting on a chair, exactly between the male and female bathrooms. That embarassed look :D
 
Random notes:
@levineismine is leading our race to the olympcis at nebelhorn, as she got her entry in.
@morqet failed big time in the pairs and most likely in the ladies. but i guess the point for her is ensured in the dance.
I myself was pretty evil today mentioning @Hanna has 3 entries and none will make it, so i totally see a big drama for lorenz/polizoakis happening, where Törn/Partanen are stealing the final spot in the end from them #karma :drama:

Expectations are so low! :rofl: I skipped group onand, no questions asked, no regrets, but so far group 2 has been enjoyable (but absolutely no teknik).

What a hard day, but still a good day, with Matilda in the end. Hope you all survived Nebelhorn @Jeschke and company. How did the photographer handle Weinzierl? #lightnessofbeing

So...I have not full control of our team, but Penny and Nick did mighty fine. Schott was great at cheering, love her! We might have a MESS-nominee, with Anne Line in her belly (she was just at the sport news, my heart was breaking for her, she was so disappointed).
Joshi's replacement slayed! What else?
