In Norway we don’t use Regionals as qualifying for anything. Skaters qualify for Nationals by points. Regionals is a nice way to end the season. Every region can crown their champions.

How is the ttw consensus on sending GG's Rostelecom SP into the -POTS-race?
While it's undeniable that it might be a frontrunner to win (the comeback, the actual skate, the wd after), I am very unsure to put her in based on the background.

Sigh. I'll cross my fingers for you that the rumors are wrong.

NOOOOOOO!!! Why?! They had such a good season!

They are in the danger zone, though, for missing the GP in that there are 6 other Russian teams with guaranteed places. K&N made a good argument for themselves at Junior Worlds, however. I would rather see all these teams fight it out. (By which I mean Popova & Mozgov, Shevchenko & Eremenko, Evdokimova & Bazin, Skoptcova & Aleshin, Khudaberdieva & Nazarov, and Shpilevaya & Smirnov. Really, the scores & results have fluctuated between all of these teams. Throw Konkina & Drozd in there for good measure).
