On a waaay more serious note ;):
First thing I saw after Men’s event in the main hall were Savosin (eating his poppy brioche) , pMurashov, Ignatov and Samoilov (can’t be sure here) hanging out and joking all together.
@Jeschke ‘s dream team :rofl:

Has Gubanova even had an epic splat? ( I haven't followed her enough but she seems to be consistent?) I mean, there is heartbreak for sure, but I think it's less because she can skate great and then splat and more so because she is always held down by RusFed..

Oh run, @rfisher is already hunting you down now Gubanova finally made some team :D

Bazin's score was over 6 points higher than Euros, and Diecke's 5 points higher than his season best, so the scores were perhaps a tad inflated ;)

Well, yes. It's your typical last minute senior B in order to get minimums competition. After all, if you're going to give the minimum score to Bunina & Frolov, then everyone else is probably going to have to score higher.

Splats have not been part of the Criteria for quite some time now. They are, however, a Quality, perhaps the most important Quality of them all.

Criteria:
1) Skater needs a complete package to potentially be a top skater at Euros/4CC's/Worlds/Olympic level
2) Skater needs to have the ability to absolutely rock one day and splat the day after. Even better: rock and splat during one program
3) Skater is not afraid of breaking one's heart over and over again
4) Skater needs more splat/messy performances than great ones

Rules:
1) Worlds/Olympic medalists and Euro/4CC's champions are not eligible
2) Multiple Euros/4CC's medal winners are not eligible
3) Membership and changes to the Rules and Qualities shall be decided by consensus among longstanding posters in the #TeamTrainwreck Threads, subject to points 1) and 2)
4) The pinky166 is not allowed to make more than one proposal a day
5) Proposals can be submitted in the #teamtrainwreck thread
6) New membership is granted only to current skaters
7) New membership is only granted to senior skaters (at least one international senior competition)
8) Membership can be cancelled due to points 1) and 2), numerous decent skates in a row or not being competitive on elite level anymore.

Qualities:
1) Being a student of Volchkova/Rukavicin
2) Big boobs/nice ass
3) Boobs/belly/nipples showing
4) Mule kick
5) Being Uzbek/Russian
6) last name called Schott
7) Bizarre off ice incidents
8) Coach
9) Costume (-Malfunction)
10) Splats
11) Bizarre Choreo
12) Hair

Speaking of not being competitive on an elite level anymore, one has to wonder about this one:
Leonova, Alena

This is an irrelevant conversation. Gubanova has, indeed, splatted during prime opportunities to win events. She has also splatted and managed to win events. (I don't know how she could possibly be more qualified for this list than Karen but as I don't want either on the list, I'm not going to make that argument;)).

The first time ever I was annoyed by Tat screaming.

My goal in life is to someday speak Russian as enthusiastically as TAT.

You truly are a cougar dude.

He just needs the rink to empty out with nobody but a couple of judges watching. It's the audience that kills him. They all need to go to the bathroom during his skate at Worlds.

I’ll set off the fire alarm so everyone evacuates!

What a day! I return and Gubanova has got her ticket  She's broken my heart so many times, but mostly it's the judges who makes sure that happens. The crying KnC from last year junior nationals I'll never forget:( I love her though, she's exquisite in every way. So should I be happy or sad she on the team?

Thanks so much @Jeschke for every update from Haague, Vikings and Fentz:( I was prepared to cheer for Stoll reading the thread and then...no show. Let's share the boat, no German, no Viking at worlds. Crap.
