Seems like Alysa is planning to jump the 3A and 4Lz this weekend

Oh my heart! I don't think I can take it! Two of my Ice Children are competing at Skate Canada this weekend, one for redemption (Nathan) the other, Alysa in her first Senior GP is going to attempt triple Axels and a quad Lutz against the great Russian and Japanese ladies?! I'm going to need a few Amaretto sours, hot tea, tea sandwiches, cookies and chocolate in no particular order to get through this Halloween weekend! ?⛸⛸:drama::fan21::nopryde::summer:

Ice Children, I love it!!!

It's obvious that Alysa is going for broke she knows no one expects her to medal in that field so why not go for it? As long as she doesn't have a meltdown and still skates fairly clean she knows even a top 5 finish with those skaters looks good.

Yes, these are but two of my Ice Children! I've had many over the years! Ecaterina and Sergei, Rudy, Kristi, Christopher Bowman, Oksana, Tara, Sasha Cohen and Mirai Nagasu for example, though now retired! Or tragically deceased in Chris and Sergei's cases. ? Every quad, I am determined not to allow any more into my heart - especially as I've had it broken more than once, come the Olympics, but alas! Baby Nathan got me unawares when he was 10, as Peter skating with the Wolf! I think it was the Wolf claws that did it! Some years later, Alysa got me too, with that joyful smile, the Quads and triple Axels! I didn't stand a chance! Anyway, Go my Ice Babies Go! Kick Ice at Skate Canada! ?????????:respec: :cheer:

Well share with us! ?

Lol. On the reverse side of packaging letter on bars and number on bags corresponds to the month and last two digits of the year it expires

Example on the bag of Halloween Reese‘s peanut butter cups I just destroyed when I turn the package over the first line of numbers is the lot number

And the second set of digits is BB 06 2022. These peanut butter cups expire on June of next year.

??

When I was an account executive with the company and called on accounts sometimes we would write credit to the store for product they had that expired. However if they did not put it out in the front to merchandise the product and sell through I would not issue credit. Needless to say I gained weight on that job

Occasionally you could see something like F 2022. F is the sixth letter of the alphabet so that would mean they expire June of next year

Also could see F 22

This is the coding for all Hershey/Reeses and most Nestlé. M&M/Mars has their own coding

That wouldn't be such a bad job, what a perk! My kids used to give me all their Reese PB treats because they knew I loved them ?

Planned content sheets aren't always what the skaters are actually planning on doing though. Maybe she will. But it's also very possible that she won't go for all that. Whatever she decides I wish her 2 clean skates!
Right (to the part I bolded above). Alysa's previously stated goal is to go for the 3A in the SP at Skate Canada. ETA - OK it was Jeremy Abbott who was quoted as saying it in a post-Nebelhorn Trophy article I excerpted in Alysa's fan thread here (end of the post): https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/alysa-liu-cheer-fan-thread.106483/page-2#post-6074507

I can't believe neither Nicole Bobek nor Angela Nikodinov made your list too. They made me crazy as a fan. It was too much of a rollercoaster!

That’s so funny, those would be my two favorites from US skating or maybe of all time as well. I was a Nicole Uber and Angela has been elevated to goddess status

Nicole and Angela were the ones I got so crazy for

I'll have to be running Peacock on my phone and my TV at the same time.

Yay! Gracie Gold was clean in her SP a few seconds ago. Well, she fell on something but I don't think it was on her footwork. But whatever, she skated great and everyone including myself was happy for her!

Wait a second I have like five windows open for five different competitions happening this weekend and I don’t see her listed in anything, most of them are in Eastern Europe. What is she competing in

And, it's available on Peacock so you can watch it later when you have a chance to relax from everything Skate Canada, lol.

Oh I did see something on juniors men in the Peacock app for something that was happening when I got home from work in juniors USA I was like what the heck is that… That must be what this is…
