That free program has amazing potential. If she doesn’t get to compete much this season I hope she keeps it for next.

Hmm... I'm starting to get major Caroline Zhang vibes with Alysa. We've probably seen the best of her. I'm still not seeing much speed, and her jumping technique especially the Axel is falling apart.
Maybe a slightly better youtube version, especially in full screen mode:Alysa performed a partial part of her new free to "The Storm."

Alysa’s new FS to “The Storm” by Hasavi. This is a piece for the gala so this isn’t the full program which we will expect to see at the ISP Points Challenge ...www.youtube.com

They need to find someone else fast. The makeup is garish.I like her FP, she skated more relaxed in the free. She's a lovely girl, but I don't like her make-up. She needs something more natural for her age.
Because her team were looking at Orser (she even went to the Cricket Club to skate for a while) before they settled on this strange text-coach arrangement with her in San Francisco without a technical coach.
Coach Viktor Pfeifer posted a clip today from Wilmington, DE ("Emily [Zhang] coming back from an injury nicely"): https://www.instagram.com/p/CGC-iJ_pFit/Senior Ladies in ISP yet to compete this season, that I am aware of...<snip> ... Emily Zhang
Massimo Scali is her regular coach (at the Oakland rink/North Cal.)So just who is Alysa's coach now?

Lee Barkell is her tech coach (and supposedly trains her via Skype or sim resource).
The latter. Alysa has not been able to travel back and forth from the Bay Area to Canada as originally planned (there are 2 recent articles posted in the "Alysa Liu Ready for Change" thread in GSD).Was that always going to be the arrangement with Lee or did the current world health crisis force it?

Ting Cui shared a clip from her new SP back on July 22: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...ing-with-adjusted-vision.107389/#post-5837386
Hopefully she will return to competition when she feels ready to do so.![]()
No, Nats qualification (other than those who have received byes) is based on the qualifying comp series that will take place in Nov and Dec. I think there are 8 comps and skaters need to finish in top 6 (I think?) in the series.Does missing either Points Challenge mean Ting can't compete at Nationals? (if there is one)

I think ecThanks Debbie and Sylvia. I suppose we are all very uncertain whether future qualifying comps or regionals / sectionals will still be held.
