This! Every time I see a skater in #walkofshame shirt, I can only think about TM1 :fragile:

Same. But I think Karly does it proud, she really tries her best and sells the hell out of it.

(Watch out guys, I'm approaching Karly Robertson uber status!) :shuffle:

Naurits in last place at Finlandia? :drama: :fragile: :gallopin1 #chickenbreast #8pack

I think I need to formally nominate Peltonen. Her SP today was so heartbreaking.

I've just been waiting for the time to do it. I think now it is....:gallopin1

So...can't watch much live of everything that's going on in Finland, and there's Japan Open and the Jgp Minsk....but trying to catch up. Seeing Guillaume sleeveless again made me realize there is nothing left in the world to live for and I can just cave in now and watch him and Gaby again and again (and I'm saying that about a latin SD. They were that good) :smokin::smokin:

Adam looked mighty fine and carefree, Fedor's man bun is , so tiny, as someone else said, he learned nothing from Jorik! I'm sort of fine with Luba and Dylan's SP, though it's Genesis, but I wish for more build or something at the end. They looked sort of retro cool...loved that! Jin and Nathan are much improved in style, too cute both, Kolyada is trying not to be heartbreak at the moment, but Peltonen is indeed. So fierce and ice, and so vulnerable. Sigh...:gallopin1

And, of course, somewhere in the PBP there was a mentioning of Dmitriev sr and his speedos :respec:

Stolbova/Klimov's FS in Finlandia is a new definition of a trainwreck: gorgeous jumps, great program, perfect throws and :yikes:

:eek::yikes:

And don't forget they brought the sex! I cant believe his lace actually came loose, so he sat down on the middle of the ice, in the middle of the program, fixed it while Xenia stood beside him waiting...then they continued doing a kick ass lift and throw. Wow! It doesn't get anymore trainwrecky, no it doesn't :gallopin1

My heart stopped when they aborted the first lift. Then the 2nd. Then Fedor fell. I don't know when I started breathing again. The rest of the program looked great. Their footwork and SBS spins are so good.

Well, their PCS were way too high today, but isn't it great to have great SS (the best in entire field, imo), excellent basics, lines and good program?
And according to the rules, those are exactly the things that determine PCS. I thought the scores were quite fair. These are what put the Chinese team up over the Italians FTW.

Glad you admit their PCS are way too high. The judges are ridiculous. It's hurting the sport.
There' re a lot of things that may (what about D/R's PCS for example?) or may not hurt the sport and I strongly believe that those things have nothing to do with nationality. And Stolbova/Klimov's high PCS is definitely not the biggest travesty in figure skating.

What do D/R have anything to do with S/K's scoring? And you are saying nationality is irrelevant? Lol. God, love delusional Russians.

How about interpretation? How can you say an incomplete program is a good program? Are the judges really judging the competed program or just the name of skaters?

And FTR the Chinese didn't completely butch Three elements and stopped to tie a shoelace for 15 seconds.

It is the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius in this thread... Harmony and Understanding and a bit of humor (necessitated by HUGE amounts of heartbreak endured by all who enter here). No arguing over nationalities.

Gotta say I really like Finlandia's camerawork. I usually never watch senior Bs. Only the big HD competitions but since this is an olympic season and honestly 2/3 of TT members are not going to even come close to the major competitions I thought why not and started watching the Challenger Series.. only to be incredibly annoyed and frustrated by the crappy streams or ugly camera angles.

Finlandia however makes me wish it could become a Grand Prix event sooner than later.

I've been to 4 different challenger events the past couple of season, and while Nebelhorn is my sentimental favourite (for the location and skating friends and dogs and drinks), Finlandia is the best organized/arena/view/rosters. And this year best TT.

But I am glad that even when boss is gone, you all set things straight in here :respec:
Thanks for that!
