Expect the :drama: if Oktar finishes on place for Olympic spot whilst Burak (the one that counts) fails to manage after the drama they had for worlds
:drama:

:gallopin1?

I was gonna voulenteer, but then I realised I'll be in no state to drive, you'll have to pick up my sad remains after mens comp where Litvintsev fail to qualify. Wheelbarrow needed.
Don't worry, I have a driver licence for wheelchairs so I guess I can also handle a wheelbarrow ?

Why is everyone assuming that Aliev for sure has the Nebelhorn assignment? The list of substitutes from Russia in the men's event leads me to believe that they won't finalize the assignment until after the Test Skates. Danielian, Gumennik, Ignatov, Kondratiuk, Mozalev and Samarin are all still in the running!

He's on the list as of today. The rest are all listed as S

I don’t care - I would be happy with almost everyone.
So based on my luck, it’s Danielian in the end :D

Detailed van analysis:
Litvintsev
Aliev
Sadovsky
Frangi
Burak
Kunkel
Guarise
Versluis
Kazimov

It should be bigger than expected after first view.
@Laney I need a driver!
Could you please wait to abduct anyone until after the Free Skating? ?

There are Olympic spots to be earned, even if particular skaters may not be able to use them.

having watched the junior pairs, I see that another :sekret: campaign to remove a Mukhortova is necessary. It took a few years for Trankov to get him the right partner, and now I'll have to do the same for Evgeniev. It's a sacred calling. :saint:

There are 4 entries in the Canadian B. Camden is one of them I'll just leave it at that

Which is about the kind of international field that he deserves. Why USFS keeps pushing him is beyond me--he's no Jeremy Abbott with occasional brilliance: He consistently underperforms.

he is pretty, so there's one point for him.

Finally home anf caught up with :gallopin1 -relevant JGP stuff of the day:

  • Tsareva is back! Haven't watched any other RUS girl, but I just say, she was robbed :p Hope she slays the FS and gets a 2nd JGP.
  • Kostiukovich/Briukhanov: :gallopin1 at its best! I hate everyone involved in giving them such a crap program! Does not suit them at all, neither his classic, nor her modern approach and is empty as ****. PCS speaks for themselves. Velikov jr back, now!
  • Mukhortova/Evgeniev. Good lord I love him  He is so into it, priceless. I am no fan of her tbh, but I don't support @rfisher perfidious campaign :drama:
  • A/K. I really feel for them. Now already behind M/E :(
  • #teamvolchkova ?
  • Yablokov: pretty as ****! ****ing great outfit, burgund perfect for him  The program is such batshit (and I bet my arse @alchemy void is loving it). As mentioned last year already, I think Volchkova does Yablokov no favour with these kind of programs.
  • Anisimov skating to ITA ballad called 'Melodrama' - I am all in :D Love his skating, so so good.

Great hair notes:
Yablokov, Evgeniev

It's so completely wrong for him especially that it's almost funny.

Although he started as a singles skater for the Czech Republic, Hotarek was already a Pairs skater by the time he moved to Italy.
