It's probably an unpopular opinion but here goes. I know the world team was pretty much open but considering the season he had Aliev probably should have just ended it and not even tried at the cup final.

He should have gone on vacation and then prepare for the next season fresh mentally and physically. He didn't do his reputation any good with the federation here and probably now feels even worse personally.

Bazin's score was over 6 points higher than Euros, and Diecke's 5 points higher than his season best, so the scores were perhaps a tad inflated

Count me in for next season, this looks THE competition to attend!

If PCS had been scored based on the skate, Gubanova should have been second and Med third. Buianova needs to focus her attention on her star. Scoring was based on coach status, and TAT's influence. Put some thought into her programs next season and give her something she can shine with. And continue to work on her jump technique so she doesn't lose points there and she can win.

I'm not concerned with Liza or Med's scores. They were essentially even and I'm fine with that. But, Gubanova was robbed in PCS relatively. She was never in contention for the World's spot, but I NEED for her to get GP events and funding.
