I'm a little surprised at Dube/Davison in the last group.

Of whom I also was a fan, by the way. :drama:

Back in 2008 I would have bet my ass that D/D will win pairs 2010.
The stage was so set for them.
I cannot really recal what happened.

:gallopin1 happened. I don't recall thinking they'd win the gold, but I thought they'd win more world medals than they did.

His footwork is shaky on the lifts.
She falls on the SBS jump.
Good emotion and musicality

What means expelled? No UKR representation anymore? ?
I guess they've been fired from the Federation so they can't represent Ukraine internationally, and will have to go to another country to compete. They weren't amazing or anything but there's talent there to be mined by some other country now.

I've always wondered what Jessica & Bryce's career would have looked like if they had been able to continue after 2010. I'm not sure they hadn't already hit their technical peak, but they were such a lovely team, and their recovering from my choice for the all-time worst pairs injury to win a World medal is one of my favourite stories in figure skating.

Bryce's knee injury ended his career - he can't jump anymore.

'The Pearlfishers' SP
Best program ever by P/T!

One of the best works ever done by Morozov!
If he wants to, he can create such good stuff!

Well, combined SP & FS, Pang/Tong should have won this event! I already would have put them 1st after the SP.
Now I said it!

Pang/Tong

-Nice side-by-side jumps
-high twist
-some synch problems in the SBS spins
-ragged lift position
-considerably slowed down on steps
