Downton Abbey Season 6 - PBS broadcast

I think I've taken the same one a couple of times and have ended up at various points as Carson, Mary, and Violet. Violet is probably wishful thinking, Mary is likely more accurate than I'd like to admit, but Carson kind of puzzles me.

I got Anna, which both surprises and confounds me, as I'm certainly not as kind as Anna and I don't understand how my choices combine to produce that result. (The fox as my favorite animal, green for my color, and champagne for my adult beverage -- at least that's what I think was in the glass .)

I keep getting Tom, I have to try the "pick your least favorite" and see what I get!

ETA: Apparently, Mrs Hughes!

I chose my least favorites and got Violet -- though the choices make even less sense than the ones that resulted in Anna.

And I don't know if the Downton Abbey PBS podcasts have been linked here before, but I just discovered them and really enjoyed this one that followed Sunday's episode 8. There is an extended interview with Michelle Dockery with very interesting stuff about both her role as Lady Mary and her relationship with Laura Carmichael (Edith).

Speaking of Anna: Joanne Froggatt will next be seen on PBS in the title role of the Dark Angel, Mary Ann Cotton, a notorious Victorian era serial killer. Talk about something completely different!
I'll be watching for that one to air! Evidently contemplating a murderous Bates & carrying a dead Turk has affected Anna more than we thought.

Great...I got Bates! WHAT?

Probably because I chose the Hurricane movie, maybe?

All those twitter bios were quotes from the show (I need a life). Maybe that determined it?

Well she did push Dennis Rickman under a bus, and who knows, did she have an alibi for when the first Mrs bates fell victim :P

Am I the only one who got Edith? Don't know why, I avoided the questions that were obviously designed to uncover the Ediths of the world. Guess it goes deeper than just feeling that your life is a series of bad luck.

ETA, I did another quiz on a different site, with different questions entirely. Still got Edith!

Oh, I would much prefer Edith over Mary. I think Edith has an adventurous soul and will sometimes buck tradition. After last week my word for Mary was BEOTCH. I like her but she does has a destructive streak. Of course Sybil was my favorite.

(((@JasperBoy)))

There, there. You will be ok.

I got Anna. Changed a bunch of answers to equally valid choices ... and still got Anna. WTF? I am most definitely not "Grade-A Wifey material!"

I got Branson - though I expected that picking the lab as my favourite animal would mean I got Lord Grantham.

Sheesh I got Carson. I picked the Penguin too!

I got Carson too, and I also picked the penguin! must be the common denominator for getting Carson. I just thought the penguin was cute ... But I'm really not THAT traditional ... Am I?? :)

just for fun, I did it a second time, picking my second favorite thing in most categories ... And got Thomas!!

maybe I was a butler in a former life??
