Nugumanova: guess it's nice and calm. Quite the usual. As an only girl in the group all the guys' attention is on me.

Thoughts on the rest of the Russian Dance

Abachkina/Drozd - not up to speed with the others, but it's fun to have them both back. They sell it, and you can watch him just for the hair
Shanaeva/Naryzhnyy - I would totally wear those pants
Davis/Smolkin - M/B are the superior nepotism team here for sure, with the better Boom Boom Pow. I like her hair though

Tiff/Jon - interesting music choice
Khuda - her hair really does go all over her face. I approve of Raining Men as a music choice
S/K - it's ... fine.
Skoptcova/Aleshin - I could watch them, or I could just watch Chock/Bates SD from 2016-17. Neither of them have Madison Chock's personality to sell it

Much to my surprise, I agree with Bossman. M/B have the best program

he broke his hand and it's only been out of the cast two weeks. They've known all along he wasn't going to NHT. My money is on Ignatov.

As for the team, it will depend on Russian Nationals as always. The biggest mystery is Marknowknownkid. Semenenko is on track, Kolyada, is well Kolyada, but Aliev is doing OK and so is Ignatov. Mark was very, very good today. If he does well on the JGP and at nationals, it's anybody's guess.

The transition from the JGP to the Challengers always feels like a step down, every season.

Ted may not understand pronunciation worth a damn, but he knows how to organize a good technical event (British Columbia’s domestic competitions, which he also oversees, have way better image quality than anything the other provinces do).

No, unfortunately there wasn't any information about S/B or S/E. Only that Khodykin has a back injury, so P/K had to withdrew

RD group 2

I aprecciate the colour in this group. First one was nice but too funeral-like.

Mom Kids - Killer program!! Level 4 entertainment and the pattern simply dissapeared among the choreo.. This is a good vehicle for them.
Khuda - From ArcticMonkeys to RainingMen? WTF This reminded me of that horrible season when they allowed Waltz with tango.
Jerk & Girl in love - Now this is how you do it, pick a them and stay through it which makes it all more memorable. Nikitta's twizzles never fail to bring the fear.
S&A - Im not expecting them to stay together after this season. No chemistry.

Overall Im no in favour of erasing the patters cause that's how you pick the good from the excellent but the Bluess is way too slow and waltzy and a mood killer within all this urban stuff.
