Marianne Stålen is one of our very few senior ladies. She'll never make it anywhere:( She trains with Camilla in Asker.

And my skate today was terrible. I totally missed the first toe-loop combo, like, it hardly took off. Next jump is flip, it's not so solid, so I thought I'd try the toe again instead, just in case. But I missed the toe even worse. It didn't at all take off. Then twice during the program I blacked out and forgot my moves. In the end I finally did a toeloop-loop combo, the loop was <<. In he final seconds I thought: maybe one of those lame toe attempts wasn't counted as a jump? So I threw in a salchow-toe combo, as a desperate act to get more points. Turned out they were all counted and I did four toe loops and the last combo was marked *invalid element. Sigh.

Now I know how our trainwrecks feel, as I feel crap right now:(:(

(We were only three competing, and the level was so low I still managed second. That feels trainwrecky in itself...)

Per GS, Skoptcova & Aleshin withdrew from Universiade and Shpilevaya & Smirnov--who were listed as first alternates initially--have been added. Does anyone know if this sounds accurate?

I put Tinami's most recent list from the Universiade thread through Google Translate; but it has the members of both teams listed? Plus Evdokimova & Bazin and Popova & Mozgov.

@Ka3sha i need your help!

Google translate makes no sense at at all.
What is this? Love letter to Enbert?

Either way: I am happy they go to worlds (and hope he is really fine and not pushed there)

I think it’s a poem about him being a good partner, hence the Superman drawing ? She’s so talented!

I do hope he’s okay, but I remember all too well the last time Mozer said “yep my teams are fine!” and we got Klimov doing twist with one operating shoulder. Mozer really seems to have lost it lately.

I need to rewatch Kolyada later, but best news from Tallinn.
Both (!!!) EST puppies got the FS minimums today :encore:
Oh my, from having none, to having 2 guys with it last second.
Who is the fed chosing now? :watch:
And the worst of all:no knc footage! :drama:

But who cares, Selevko or Naurits safe for worlds for 2yrs :encore:

:( -6.00 without a single jump in the program that he shouldn't be able to do? And in a competition that shouldn't be high pressure. I hope he is OK because this seems uncharacteristically trainwecky even for him.
Russia may just as well send Aliev or Junior to Worlds. Who knows, Junior might actually land the 4A.
