I don't even know where to start with my gushing!
It's basically GP level stuff + a lot of extra and soooo many of my faves!

I was talking about myself, hahaThe Russians are listed - for women’s, Valieva, Tuk and Kos. That’s as of today, 14 Sept.
There's no schedule for the Canadian Classic which runs about the same time as the US event.
It must be. Chelsea and Sherim definitely are Ice Dancers, not a Pair.I guess the Dutch dance team being entered in Pairs is a mistake.
There are problems with the Canadian ANNOUNCEMENT schedule. It doesn't mention PAIRS, and it was probably issued before the withdrawal of so many men. So the times stated aren't reliable, which makes planning watching both the US and Canadian competitions very difficult. The overlaps appear to be between the US and Canada events, in the early evenings on Thurs & Friday.
For ex:
Thursday, Sept 16:
Canada: W SP at 5:50pm
versus
US: M SP at 7:25pm...I’ll switch to this if/once the above is over
Friday, Sept 17, the toughie for Women’s discipline fans:
US: W SP at 5:53pm
versus
Canada: W LP at 6:20 pm...so I’ll have to catch this on replay
No real conflicts on Saturday. Canada’s all during mid-day; US in evening.
As for JGP Krasnoyarsk: no conflicts at all with either of the N.Am. competitions. I just have to get up really early!![]()

Buy @Hanna /USER] house for a Euro then sell it back when you go homeI was talking about myself, haha
The border between Russia and Finland is open for business trips only or in case a person has property across the border
Chelsea and Sherim are also competing as ID'ers at Nebelhorn. This is a mistake. Either Chelsea and Sherim should be in the ID section, or the other Dutch Pair will be here. However, Chelsea and Sherim often train in Finland (with Maurizio Gargaglio), so I expect it's Chelsea and Sherim who will compete here. It's around the corner so to speak.13 Nika OSIPOVA / Dmitry EPSTEIN NED 9
14 Chelsea VERHAEGH / Sherim VAN GEFFEN NED 9 (competed as ice dancers at Worlds)
We need to find you some property!I was talking about myself, haha

Ah, I see rfisher already had the same idea.Buy @Hanna house for a Euro then sell it back when you go home
Nothing official yet, but Wang / Liu is rumored to have withdrawn from ACI on Weibo. I assume the situation is the same for Chen / Sun.
So, it would seem they are pulling all their skaters from the early season comps, similar to Japan (thankfully Japan is letting their only pairs team compete still). I wonder if they'll have them compete at Asian Open Trophy.Wang / Liu, Chen / Sun and Shan Lin are now off the ACI entry list.
I don't get what the strategy is for China and Japan pulling or just not sending skaters to competitions this season. They are almost acting like it's last season when their wasn't a skating season but it's not the case this year and it's a Olympic year to boot. So, it would seem they are pulling all their skaters from the early season comps, similar to Japan (thankfully Japan is letting their only pairs team compete still). Also, while I'm sad to see both fields reduced, I'm not as sad about the ladies since that drops the entries down to 12 and 2 flights instead of 3.
But Japan and China are sending skaters to competitions, Miura/Kihara are at ACI, Sui/Han (and I expect the two main Chinese men) will be at Asian Open. Asian Open is probably going to see a lot of the Asian seniors who would like to stay closer to home or can't fly outside for whatever reason (I think we might see Hanyu and/or Kagiyama there, too). Japanese seniors are also going to be at GP events, though it's looking more unclear by the passing second if the Chinese ones will be sent to anything outside China.I don't get what the strategy is for China and Japan pulling or just not sending skaters to competitions this season.
