Hmmm... yeah, Torgy wouldn't be a bad choice. Tomoki killed it at Sectionals, so I could see him being assigned too.

Pairs heck send five if possible

Can only send 3, like the other disciplines. And, honestly, we don't really have 5 teams that warrant another international.

Dance Z&K, Browns

Eh... I get the logic for both, but I think there are other teams that should be prioritized (HawBak & FlorDes). I suppose if HawBak aren't ready then, sure, send the Browns too.

Because you haven't been paying attention to domestic comps? They were new last season and competed at Nats but he didn't get his release until this summer. They were scheduled for an earlier Challenger (Budapest, IIRC) and then WD. They finished 2nd to Wolfkostin/Tsarevski at the US Dance Final last week.

To be fair, there aren't many non-European skating competitions held during the time frame (Sept-Dec) when the Challenger Series happens, and there aren't many non-European competitions during the rest of the year either.

Well sometimes it's three if CS US Classic is happening, but yeah. Agreed. Two in Asia and two in North America would be better, Europe can take six if it wants.

SEA is doable if they want to move the competition from late August to mid-late November.

Where in East Asia would you suggest? Japan is full of domestic comps - regionals, sectionals, novice and junior nationals - during that same time frame, Korea only cares about their ranking comps, China has their own domestic comps...

I was going to say China - convert Shanghai Trophy into a CS event instead of an invitational fluff. I guess the problem is that they also do Short Track with it which is valued much more, and it's on one of their national holidays so it's probably hard for anyone to convince them, but I do think it'd be valuable for their skaters, and anyone Korean and Japanese who wants to knock a CS out before going to the GPs, without traveling too much. And they do seem willing to jump at hosting fs all of a sudden, so...

Otherwise East Asia is doomed. But SEA should at least try.
