Scream Queens...I have a lot of mixed feelings about this one. AMAZING cast and the sharp editing was so spot-on. Also loved hearing so many of the older pop songs that radio hasn't been playing (but should!!). But the tone is too one-note, most specifically in Emma Roberts performance (which is also pretty much the same characterization she used in American Horror Story: Coven...but much better there). For this, I definitely blame the director. That quick-pace of story and speedy, sharply delivered dialogue is just too much to take for an extended period of time. It didn't help that they aired two episodes of that back-to-back. I think future episodes will be more of the same, so I won't be tuning in. Which is a shame because with such a large cast of talented actors, I'll be missing out on people who need to be seen a lot more than they have been.
script and horrific direction, they are lost. And has Wilmer Valderrama always been this unintelligible? 
Incredible cast, adequate script...but a script that just barely gets a passing grade. There's too many quality program out there for one to give this a second viewing.
Not sure if they'll be able to sustain this story through many episodes/seasons, but I'm going to be tuning in next week, anyway.
