2015 - 2016 TV Season

I understand "Quantico" stars a famous Bollywood actress? I wonder if this program will air in India as well.

From the previews she certainly is attractive, but the show itself doesn't seem very substantial. All about the young and the beautiful which seems odd in a show with that setting.

I would love to see Chopra succeed and the show couldn't be worse than the other new shows already aired so far this season. LOL But to my knowledge there has not been too many successful Bollywood to Hollywood crossovers.

I watch Bollywood but I can't stand her movies. I don't think this show will do so well. Even Ash also known as The Most Beautiful Woman in the World didn't manage to be successful in Hollywood.

I saw the pilot and I was prepared to dismiss it as another Grey's anatomy. But once it cuts to who blew up Grand Central, it becomes really compelling.

Well, I just finished watching Quantico and I enjoyed it overall. I liked the cast and the story drew me in so I'll be watching it again next week. :)

I liked the first half of Blood & Oil but the second half kinda went downhill. At the rate the two main characters are going they will be richer than Bill Gates by mid season. LOL

I Liked Quantico a lot and for some reason I was surprised by just how much I liked it. Maybe it was because so many of the new shows I have seen already were disappointments. And I agree with post #147 as to who is the culprit. I will definitely be putting this one on my must watch list.

On Quantico, the guy who, uh, did it in the car (takes me a while to learn names!) ..... what else is he from? I'm placing him somewhere else like another show but can't think of where?

Minority report lost me for good about 20 minutes in. I have better things to do with this time.

That was bugging me the whole show too, but when I looked him up on imdb, I'm not familiar with any of his major roles. In the end, I think he just reminds me - vaguely mind you! - of the comedian Will Sasso.

I was also trying to place the son of the oil baron on Blood & Oil - turns out he was Becca's boyfriend Tyler for a season of Californication. A lot more hair, but still an obnoxious jerk - not that I condone violence but I can see why both Don Johnson and David Duchovny beat him up

Watching The Muppets right now. I have to admit it was pretty awesome that Miss Piggy did an interview with Reza Aslan.

I see ION TV is broadcasting "Saving Hope" - premiers on Oct. 13th.

As far as I can tell Saving Hope has been running in Canada - this will be the 4th season. It was on NBC a couple of years ago and got cancelled pretty early. It looks like ION is starting with the original season, although I can't tell for sure - http://www.iontelevision.com/show/saving-hope

Loved Grandfathered and remember seeing a movie staring Dwayne Johnson with a similar theme. The rich playboy who suddenly overnight becomes a family man.

I enjoyed the Muppets last week but I laughed a lot more this week so I'm definitely going to keep watching it. :D

*anxiously waiting for NPH to vacate the timeslot where Chicago Fire should be but knows she still has to wait two weeks for her fave show to come back* :fragile:

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed OUAT's premiere. I just marathoned the second half of season 4 and while it got way too cheesy at times with the execution, there was some good storyline there. Season 5 is off to an interesting start and I think I may tune in on a regular basis again.

Missed Agents of SHIELD tonight, but I'm planning to watch at some point tomorrow!

What a huge disappointment: They had so much to work with in terms of material and ideas and I thought it was a snoozefest. I liked the first half of "Quantico" and then was interrupted and did not get back to it. A lot of sexy FBI candidates.....I think my favorite shows will be on PBS this year.

Scream Queens has already pretty much played itself out, this really would have been much better as a movie the way they are writing the characters, and it is already becoming very predictable with WAY too much camp. It was a struggle to make it through the episode and it was only an hour this week.

I enjoyed Quantico, I didn't love it but I would say I really enjoyed it, I agree with the other posters about who the mole probably is. I'm really looking forward to the CBS premieres tonight and then American Horror Story a week from tonight :cheer2:

I thought that Grandfathered (John Stamos) and The Grinder (Rob Lowe) were both well-produced and well-acted dramedies...but just not all that funny. I just happened to get the first season of Friends from the library today and watched the first episode...and it is so much funnier than either of these new shows. And I'm sure future episodes/seasons of Friends will be even better/funnier. I think it's easier to laugh when you like all the characters. When people make a show about people struggling with their lives, their jobs, with others and with themselves...it's tougher to laugh when you feel bad for them. Grandfathered and The Grinder have too many struggles happening for the viewer to relax and laugh. So glad that I have another 23 episodes of Friends to watch over the next while instead! :cheer:

I thought Code Black was awful. I was hoping it would be more like Grey's, which I still love, but it had very little development of the characters and tons of unorganized chaos and people talking over each other and being angry at each other for the sake of being angry. There was basically no story told at all. It was just a giant mess. I usually love medical shows and was really excited for this one, since Grey's is probably coming to an end in the next few seasons, if not this one, but this one was a huge miss for me.

^ Ugh, that doesn't sound good. I recorded it but haven't watched yet. The trailers didn't look that promising -- melodrama and over-acting galore -- but I wanted to check it out anyway just because I really like MGH.
