Former #TTW member Alaine Chartrand formally announced her retirement today.

Let us all remember her greatest feat, being set up up for what was as close to a no-pressure scenario for an Olympic spot as a skater from a large fed could hope for, and then fumbling it away anyway.

But on a serious note: INTRUDER Chartrand was one of the few skaters I really not liked for a while and learned to really enjoy in the end!

I loved her Sunset Boulevard FS so much.
She had her fair share of totally outings!

Boss and vice were willing to add her if she met certain conditions along the lines of winning the SP and finishing last in the FS in a particular competition. Alas, she never rose to the occasion. Or, for that matter, sank to it.

My personal preference would be for Chen and Cui to battle it out for the top two spots and for Glenn and Bell, skating at their absolute best, to battle it out for the remaining spot. ??
