Jesus, Tinami... etc.
Zeus, hanca... on a site designed for fans who are passionate about skating world issues, you're passionate and preoccupied with my persona and my reasoning. that's not a healthy mind set. but don't let me stop you, your comments give me an opportunity to speak about rights and wrongs in the skating world that are of interest to me. i don't care if you like it or not. you have a diff. info than what i have, pls state it, i like to read it.

15 year old girl (and her coach), have been viciously attacked from the day she won fair and square her Olympic title. Her only fault in the eyes of many - is winning.

She and her coaching staff have been sent hate mail, threats, advise of bodily harm, along with many actions and stunts against them, trying to ruin their carriers and diminish their accomplishments, directly, indirectly, some cleverly disguised in many different forms , etc. This is wrong, and i will speak out against it.

No one is advocating threats or attacks on Alina or members of her team on this board, @Tinami Amori. No one. If anyone ever did, the mods would penalize them for it, and rightly so.
The issue i mentioned about a post "about stabbing Tutberidze with a knife" did not come from anyone on FSU, but from the outside sources, and similar has been happening for over a year. I posted many links to IG posts (in other topics), no need to repeat.

Just like all the mentions of other skaters/coaches getting attacked are brought up on FSU in their own topics, the attacks on Alina and her coaching staff needs to mentioned as well. Unlike others, they do not go public with it on their own.

... although I guess it's mostly crazies on sports.ru who have a problem with it :yikes:
don't read comments on sports.ru.... or you will turn crazy yourself. In Zagitova's topics some are suggesting various grotesque sexual poses for every one of her programmes.. :D

Dobroskokov (Pavluchenko/Khodykin's coach 2018/2019) says that Tarasova/Morozov's move to Zueva is a great decision - they already have a tech-base, and Marina will give them the missing part - components and artistry.

Veronika Zhilina is starting to practice 3A (in the gym)

Lubov Rubtzova joins Khrystalny/Sambo-70 (trial period, formerly with Davydov)

Elizaveta Kulikova joins Davydov's group (unfortunately did not past trial period at Sambo)

Anastasiya Shabotova (the girl who said on video that "to win, skaters need to take right kind of doping) is staying with Panova, but will now skate for Ukraine (released by Moscow Figure Skating Federation without issues).

I think she achieved much more by being trained by her husband than she would achieve with any other coach. The results in her first ice dance season were pretty impressive (for someone who changed discipline at this age). For comparison, Stavitskaya also changed discipline from singles to ice dance in her later teens and didn’t have such good results. I think Morozov put in a lot of extra hours to get the results. Saying that, I am guessing it probably wasn’t doing much good to their relationship.

Perhaps. And I think his political influence greatly helped her.

Davankova & Shibnev only finished 0.21 ahead of Stavitskaya & Bagin at the only Russian Nationals they attended. D&S finished behind them in the SD.

Stavitskaya did the ice dance approximately a year longer though.

Anastasia Gubanova was expelled from CSKA and Buyanova’s group after the camp. She has already returned to St Petersburg.

That’s not going to help her a GP event or JGP event. It reminds me how unpopular Nugumanova became with the federation after Mishin dumped her. The fact that Russia has so many talented young ladies means that they can easily waste one if they decide she needs to be punished.

What'd she do? Tell them to feck off or something?
comment in the post: "за несоответствие текущей спортивной формы и поставленным задачам".
"for not complying with a required athletic shape/form and not meeting the set challenges/goals".

(rink moms' live journal chat, some from CSKA, mention the following issues - weight gain while on vacation in Turkey, no stamina/drive in practices, bad/argumentative attitude towards coach, making faces/rolling eyes/turning away).

Oh.....that can't be good. And why in the world is there a live journal chat among the moms.
All I can think is Dance Moms.

She needs to switch countries.
Minsk started a figure skating programme, hired Yagudin to manage it, and there is an open offer for Russian skaters to join, with offers of help and support with documents and training. Maybe..

Official news post in R-Sport (pretty much same info).
Elena Buyanova said on the telephone to Anatoly Samokhvalov (same words as posted above).

Her last two programmes at Russian Cup Final. (she was not bad at all, this is a bit crazy situation..).

Maybe she was still annoyed at not getting a GP and decided to say the hell with it and eat cake and ice cream while on vacation. I'd probably roll my eyes at Buianova too.

Nastia, you're killing me here.

It's hard to compete with the tiny tots when you're a mature figured athlete. Maybe it's just time for her to move on. But when she was at her best she was a joy to watch. Not everyone can be anorexic or is cool with doping to get results when they don't have the naturally obtained "required form". Buyanova, couldn't have used even a smattering of tact and diplomacy though, being the adult?

What'd she do? Tell them to feck off or something?

Probably. But isn't that a right of passage for a young talented, harried, normal sized female figure skater in Russia? Besides Nasty has an interview coming out soon so this is Buyanova's spin. Touchy much? LOL.

What "tiny tots"? she was to skate in Seniors this year, and her main, 5 out of 8, rivals this year are all older than her - Zag, Tuk, Med, Konst, and Samodurova same age..... I know you're a provocateur, but chose your "BS" more wisely next time.
--
Gubanova did not just part with Buianova, she was expelled from the club (CSKA), unlike Sotskova, for example, who switched from Buianova to Sokolovskaya but remained at CSKA, or Radinova, who is not skating competitively, but sill a member of CSKA. Something rather serious happened with Gubanova's situation.

Provocateur? From you? That is rich, I need to record the day and time.

Noted regarding Gubanova, moving on to the next 15 minute debacle of the 2019/20 off season..LOL.

EDIT: Also please keep the "BS" comments to yourself in future, we do like classy and sassy in this joint :)
