Overall - Samodurova in GPF, holy shit
Konstantinova - Great redemption! Proud member she is. I love the choreo sequence in the end, she is so into the music there. #missionkickingmedvedevaoftheteamatnationals
Lecavelier - Unfortunately Laurine has become pretty much forgettable the last year??‍#givingviceamembershipcall
Algotsson - This is one of the emptiest programs I have ever seen. There us just nothing in it. Nothing!
Paganini - If she is off, the skating is totally uninspired. Top5 at euros should be very much doable for her
Meite - Nyah will always remain my reminder, that Marchei was a classy single skater once before she turned to the trashy pairs route.
Serna - I approve the Pogo-potential of her splats, she is already on the MESS-shortlist twice this season
Tennell - Call me not impressed??‍
Sotskova - This was some boring GP farewell by Sotskova. I do not expect her seeing her next season again on the roster.
Honda - Such good music and program for her. Stunning skating. A shame she is such a Let's face it, even medaling at nationals won't get her to worlds #givingviceamembershipcall
Mihara - Such a good skater; a shame she was that unlucky with her GP draws. Hope she makes it to worlds!
Kihira - To be honest, this was a bit characterless for me, sorry??‍
Medvedeva - So uninspired! Stasia for words!

No one is missing the worlds team at nationals. If he ****s up there, he really has to **** up big time to miss the euros team.
Euros is the place where the worlds spot is decided.

I felt rather unworthy of her attention, as she had to talk me through the ladies, as I am only knowledgable about dance...

I'd forgotten how much better skating is live, it has whet my appetite and I am very excited about going to Euros now!

Another name drop, i sat next to Jayne Torville for the dance.

Highlights of yesterday for me,
Vanessa and Morgan, and how incredibly happy she was after winning, she was glowing!
Aliev & Amyoz, such wonderful plasticity!!
Stephen Lambiel dancing/living his skater's program at the boards...
Olivia and Adri until he fell, I was really enjoying the program...loved her dress
PC as I haven't seen them live since 2011
SK looked surprisingly decent after PC, which I wasn't expecting. That is going to be a hell of a battle with SB for Russian no. 1 in 4 weeks. IMO SK have the edge.
Boy Parsons wonderfully silent edges...
GP I was disappointed, I had hoped for more.

I already plan for next year! I think I'll may go to the final, but I have to see live skating on this level again next year. NHT is a must for any fan in Germany, but a Grand Prix is another level ?

No video footage, as I dropped my video camera when they both sat down on their first counterbalance lift!!
Then before I got to pick it up, they had aborted a 2nd lift before they even started... so you had Romain H and Muriel Z screaming from the barrier at them to improvise an extra lift.... it is such a shame there is no video, as it was #TTW material for sure!!

Now, on to the important stuff. Is Pogo still on for at least one skate this season? Kovtun quadded himself into Nationals. Surely, Pogo can do something?

I feel badly for Med. She's in big trouble at RuNats if she skates like she did this weekend.

And, much as it grieves me to have to say, Stasia's free skate was damn good. I'll never forget Gubanova's pain, but that wasn't Stasia's fault, and she was crushed after her SP, so I'll be big enough to say I was very happy for her after the free skate.

I would not be surprised if she fails to make the team. She looks totally heavy, laboured, uninspired.

Speaking of Czechs, do we know why Brezina is continuing at this point? I mean don’t get me wrong, I will cheer him on for as long as he skates competitively, I just wonder why.

He has said he wants to compete at Worlds in Saitama. I believe he's got a lot of fans in Japan, so it might be a good place for a finale.
