Unfortunately yes. The practice sessions were an entire mess too;
They seemed totally unprepared, sloppy and like a better junior team in their first senior season.?

Love the kid, he's my favorite skater so far this season and he is not a wreck, not even close. It's his coaches fault. I can't blame a 15 yo for his coaches lack of ability to construct a program with 3 jump combos Whatever, I just told Zavozin so hopefully the error gets corrected otherwise

Czech puppy #2 is still better than Czech puppy #1. You can tell Verner likes him better too . The new 8 foot tall Czech puppy I enjoyed too.

Can we put Honda on the watchlist? She really needs to learn how to skate a clean SP stat. She’s so talented and it’s becoming heartbreaking to keep watching her bomb SPs. Le sigh

Did not help though. But I tried.

Bossman Day 3 recap:

- have not seen Schott
- E/K win I am not so delusional to think they have a real shot for RUS#3 this season; her jumps are so vera-esque and this last lift was horror to watch. I have a big soft spot for them, so when they bvecome more heartbreaking, they might not become RUS#3 but ride the train, at least
- SK/K not impressed
- H/S looked rock solid in practice, I guess nerves got her sitting in 2nd place in that field. @SmallFairy I have hope. I think they have improved.

Short summary of my NHT experience.
Thanks god for the last group of ladies. They brought some world class to Oberstdorf. Esp. Zagitova, Mihara. Also loved Marin Honda. Loena was so overscored...
The men - no, just no. What pleases the normal audience the most made me nearly run away No fan of Messing and Co.
Poster Boy broke my heart. But he proved why he's on the team.
Ice Dance and pairs was nice to wach but nothing stood out for me.

It seems it's not good to be not patriotic at all. I couldn't care less for most German skaters and there are too many annoying fans in the audience who don't understand and accept this. Best example was an unpolite woman who came next to me when Thomas Stoll skated ihr FP. She stood up and filmed his skate. So I couldn't see half of his program . After the program she said that this was very good ans she got mad with me because I wasn't clapping hard for this sh!t... I mean, come on... That guy was horrible, no? Oh Boy...

Your 7th place finish there was maybe your career highlight, but more important that day was your importance for playing a main part in creating the legendary #TeamTrainwreck. In best -manner you decided to give up on singles and focus on dance. With #CutieShibnev you found a worthy partner in looks and did not lower the level for your next one, Andrei Bagin, with whom you made it to the -Olympics, the Universiade. Afterwards you fooled us all in legendary manner with possible partnerships and tryouts. Desperate souls even hoped for a comeback in pairs
Your stunning beauty, gorgeous hair and countless beach selfies will be tremendously missed.
You were a true legend!
