Question about this. A lot of comments on youtube and the pbp shocked that Konstantinova had higher PCS than Kostornaia. My thought was that Konstantinova just skated a lot bigger and covers the ice better (as she should!). Is that accurate? So then I can Uber her fully, she goes to Worlds and creates heartbreak, because I haven’t had enough yet this season.

I think that yes, she skates bigger, faster and gains more power while Kostornaia's skating seems to be effortless and she obviously is a very musical skater. So I guess it's the question of personal preference. I also assume that Stasya did have a little age-eligible bonus and being a St Petersburg also may have helped her a bit (deservedly so)
But while almost everyone criticize Konstantinova for her bad posture, Kostornaia also has a problem with her neck; it doesn't really stand out at first though..

US has two teams one a novice pair team and the other an intermediate team skating to Candyman. With all the lyrics. I don't want to ever hear anybody rag on Tarasova/Morozov again for inappropriate lyrics. I laughed and laughed. We somehow need a #TTW in training for the juniors and below. Some will never make it to seniors, but they have all the other qualities we admire in #TTW. Do it while Daddy is still in the wind.
