Actually the Leftovers (Peng/Jin) have pretty good arguments on their side:

-tons of potential
-epic splats (mostly on jumps, even 2A, but I remember spins too?)
-all the off ice drama with the chinese pairs shuffling two seasons ago
-heartbreak for the above reason
-being likeable underdogs
-their nickname alone
-wtf choreo moments including last year's SP opening and running for this year's MEEPOTS

they are just a costume malfuncion away from being in! I nominate them!
