I can’t keep up with this thread! :drama: :gallopin1

He does a quad and used to do a 3A. He was great at Nats last year like 7th, but then failed to make the fs cut at JW. No idea why he doesn't do a 3A currently. His father teaches him, he's wonderfully artistic and the USFS loves him. That and watching him skate should make a case.

I remember him now! I was just being a little bitchy and dismissive. I blame my avatar. :p

I like Togoshev but he needs time.

With Weinzierl pulling outta Minsk, she finally lost @alchemy void ? :watch:

Yes. Schott is so much better this season.

Madonna's ballad album :respec: played to pieces...

15 year old me wore out that Something to Remember CD on my Walkman! So good! :40beers:

@rfisher look at the Madonnarama you’ve started! :yikes:

Justin, we are getting old :drama: But damn right you are! :respec: Best song ever by her!

Yup! This Used to be My Playground, too!

Used to try it, and may try it later this season. But as far as I can recall has never done a good one in competition. (He received credit and negative 2s & 3s for his attempts at JGP Saransk last season if I remember correctly). I think Andrew is still working on making his case in juniors, and does not need to be measured for Team Trainwreck before even seriously getting going.

All that said . . .

I'd say he's more competitive than Maria Stavitskaya. Our bar here for being potentially a complete package is rather ???

I thought he did one at Nationals last year. But I could be wrong. By the time the men's long program starts the whole week has been so long I probably had already started drinking lol

  • Just sayin, Torgashev did make the JGPF this year. Not that that will sway TPTB :drama: Just Like a Virgin, his time will come. :p

Negative 2 GOE in both the short and the long.

Like I said, probably a bit drunk at that point. And I saw he was only 7th in the short, 11th in the long and overall :shuffle:. Listen I was really distraught over Max and his programs and placement last year. Andrew is not #TTW worthy. Maybe someday....

Andrew is not #TTW worthy.

LOL. You say this like it is a bad thing. He's developing. The quad was beautiful at his first event this season. If Vincent hadn't been injured and Nathan hadn't moved up to seniors at Nationals in 2015, I think Andrew would have had fewer eyes on him previously, less hype, and likely wouldn't have competed senior nationally last season. He'd be moving into his own on the junior scene just now. And, IMO, his coaches are making a perfectly wise decision not pushing a jump he's not sound on. He was a year out with injury himself. He, Kraznozhon, Pulkinen, and Hiwatashi all held their own on the JGP this fall and have a battle on their hands this season to make the Junior World team. That's a real battle. Not an imaginary one.

No way I'll be able to keep track. And Skate Canada is in the middle of the night, I can't cope with that:lol:
You have to be dedicated or delirious to be watching a GP skating comp in the middle of the night. I'm confessing to the latter... :saint: :p

You are 100% right. For some reason I had it in my head that he used to do a 3A and I talk about a lot of things off memory only....I should be less lazy and look things up. Like I totally forgot about his injury...

Non fashion related Mari IG (stories) updates:

Since, sadly, I don't think Pogo or Rad will be going to the Olympics, and I've tossed Brezina in the waste bin, there is only one question and that is the Empress. :kickass:

Sad, innit. I think Sotskova and Zagatova will join Medvedeva. :(

But, I'll still cheer for little Rose and Pogo till the bitter end because that's why I'm a charter member of TTW.

Michal, OTOH, is on his own. Plus, it's not as if he has competition to keep him from going to Korea.
Well, I got it. I'm sad to admit it but I agree with you :wuzrobbed
Still hope that LaTuk will :kickass: She is from St Petersburg and Nationals will be held there, so she may get the bonus and maybe the Fed will want to please Mishin... so the hope dies last as you may see :D

:yikes: meant that I'm nervous for the Empress now
