He’s a mess but the judges are still going with him so I wouldn’t worry. Plus the other Russian men are not doing so well this season. I want to be hopeful about Aliev’s chances but the judges were so mean to him at his GPs and I worry about his foot/leg problems and lack of stamina.

At this rate it looks like Kolyada and Samarin for the Olympics. But hopefully Kolyada and Voronov!

I think a better nomination for the team would be Kovtun. I mean in addition to the whole thinking he’s a thug tough guy rapper when he’s actually a skinny white boy who figure skates, the whole Olympics debauckle is pretty heartbreaking. I’m not even a fan, but he really deserved his ticket to Sochi and now he’s quite injured and it seems pretty clear he’s not gonna make it to Korea. That is heartbreaking to me, even for a boring headcase skater that doesn’t seem to care.

Sotskova - Stunning look This must be the first time I enjoyed her again since her junior days 2015/16. Must be the ponytail Great skating, loved it, @Hanna might be happy. Now that Buianova loosened up Sot's hair, is there hope for a Radio-hair-vention at hunger games?
Kostner - We all know she will be back with 3f3t for olympics and will slay. Awesome. Around that long! She is a star!
Miyahara - Happy she pretty much ensured her olympic berth with finishing ahead of Higuchi. I was not sure she would make it starting the season. Great for her. Still 2 months time to fix the jumps.
Osmond - She is not my taste, but I can't deny if she is on, she's on. Huge jumps. I am pleased she already has a world medal, as she is a and i can already hear @pinky166 campaigning for her
Higuchi - A shame that GPF is her worst comeptition of the season. Now she needs to medal to makes the team. I love Honda, but she is not that ready yet, and personally I would love to see Mihara, but I would be sad if Higuchi misses the team after a stellar season. A shame with these 2 spots Not to mention Sakamoto

Junior thoughts:

Pulkinen - I am still amazed he is straight and dating rydberg with these eyebrows and that knc
Krasnozhon - Such a disapointment for me this season
Erokhov - my new discovery, loved him, and he is rocking the #nipple
Junior ladies - 3a3t, 4s, take that #velvetboy
Kostornaia - By far the best for me, by far! I think today is a day, @Hanna thinks i might not be completely mental
Samodurova - love her, but I can't see any future for her
Konstantinova - needs to be on the junior worlds team, just wanted to say
Lajoie/Lagha - @levineismine might be pleased I enjoyed that

Overall junior dance - I loved that we had 3 or 4 teams who had a moment, where one partner was spinning, while the other was doing something different. Loved that

I am comfortable with myself and more than happy to rock Zagitova's tutu, if the price is right!

Anyways. I like Zagitova's LP a lot, this was not her best performance, PCS should have been 5 points lower, but she'd still win by a mile, so good for her.

Sotskova - Stunning look This must be the first time I enjoyed her again since her junior days 2015/16. Must be the ponytail Great skating, loved it

Totally agree. P/C are lovely, fantastic basics, but this program is the same freaking thing they do every year. It's gorgeous but Totally rooting for V/M to win Olympics, too.
