Inspired by this prescient post earlier today, I respectfully nominate Angela Wang.
This was a good proposal pressman.
Unfortunately, DENIED!

I have a soft spot for her and sometimes, and this might be a main reason that these sometimes just are almost non-existent, she is exquisite. For the rest she is kinda :blah: and no heartbreak-material.
If she delivers more often (outside obscure us summer competition) or starting splatting the big way, I reconsider!

The fact that Wang doesn't deliver more often outside of obskur U.S. summer competitions is what makes her heartbreaking. :fragile:

holy crap
i missed and no videos online anymore :drama:
bless her.

Angelīna Kučvaļska 2017 Tallinn Trophy FS :yikes:

It's a shame you nixed her #TTW nomination, bossman, because this was heartbreaking and not evidence of having the complete package to potentially be a top skater at Euros or Worlds.

MEPOTS nominee for sure, but I think Samohin's Rostelecom Cup FS is still the leader. :gallopin1

Skate America Day 1:

Pairs:
D/R: The SP is good for them and suits their style, but there are so many things I could point my finger on, I don't get the scores at all.
S/M: I have to admit, I can't stand the program :blocjudge I did not like Empress' earlier Flamenco and I dislike this one: who in the team thought that would be a good vehicle for olympics? I dislike the black thing on her dress, I dislike the dress at all to be honest and Bruno skates like a butcher in that program. He came a long way from Popova, but this SP is just wrong. Having said that all: long live da Empress! :glamor: #missiongold
Z/E: No one, I repeat, no one needs Rogonov at olympics. So good!!! This is classic russian pairs skating (by an estonian :p ) I love it! Awesome! And he is so damn hot :smokin:
D/F: I wonder, has @alchemy void paid more attention in the knc to bearded frazier or the hairdoing and entire styling of berton? question of the day! (Zoueva looks so old when Berton sits next to her on the couch)
MTM2: MESS-shortlist

Men:
Chen: Gotta admit, I really like that program!
Voronov: We all know, how the story will end. He will make it to GPF; come in 1st or 2nd at nationals, will fail at euros and will be ditched of olympics again. That's what's gonna happen! :drama:
Rippon: MEEPOTS-shortlist
Yan: MESS-shortlist! The hair has to go! Seriously! The rest I love. Leading Spiderman! :respec:
Dannyboy: Going easy and save? :blah::blah::blah: #splatordie ; loved how he was into it, awesome! MEEPOTS-shortlist
Spiderman: Sui/Han FS to his music for olympics please! Them skating to 'Crouching tiger, hidden dragon' would bring the house down!!! :mitchell:
Miner: Farewell-GP for my man :drama: We've come a long way from JGPF to here Ross, I am a bit teary-eyed. Love the beard. Confused with the hair, no hair-styling-tips of your coaches please! This program is almost avantgarde for Ross, so for gods sake bring the hoodie back for nationals!!! Side note story: I woke up this morning with a message on my phone, saying: 'Miner looks really hot (for his standards)'. Made my day :40beers:
Sadovsky: hell yeah! I cannot recall having him seen before. Loved it. Please, it can't be Reynolds or Nguyen in Korea, I take every other canadian but not these 2 :drama:
Firus: costume wtf?!?!
Kovtun: I think, I am lost. He looked totally stunning to me. Loved this look. I bet my arse if he stays on his feet at nationals, he will be send! really liked it! I love some comeback, underdog story. So go Maxim, all the way!

I do. Rogonov >>>>>>>>> Enbert on the :smokin: department. I agree about the russian style though, but let's face it, its basically dead so let's move on already.

Pretty much. that's the unwritten law for non Plushy veterans.

Who thought that program was a good vehicle for him. It's too edgy for such a bland vanilla guy. Mitchell finally looks his age on the K&C no matter how many modern haircuts he gets.

Kovtun: I think, I am lost. He looked totally stunning to me. Loved this look. I
:huh:Your taste leaves me stunned sometimes too ::p:p

While Kovtun is clearly not recovered, that program is the best he's ever had Can we put all the Russian men on #TTW just for the fact there will be much heartbreak among them when the team is selected.

that heartbreak is only an arrhythmia compared to the Ladies. That said, russian ladies team is almost set in stone so most of us are already mourning Pogo-Radio and TukI. If anything JPN ladies will be the most tear inducing event this season.

I don't know if I dare to ask this .... Does my heartbreak team of Alexa and Chris ever get a chance to ride this train? I mean she has no big boobies but kinda ticks all the other stuff... as far as I know, no major international title either.....

I’ll never let go of hope for little Rose! That being said, it’s not looking so great. Losing PCS to Sotskova and getting the same as Tursy in a fluff event? :shuffle:

But the tech caller at SA does seem strict so I am a bit nervous for Tsurskaya and her delayed rotation jumps which are gorgeous to look at but sometimes questionable on the landing. We will find out soon enough I suppose.

She (Tsurskaya) represents Russia, she can be safe :EVILLE::D

But seriously her jumps are fundamentally better than those of Medvedeva or Zagitova, I'd love to see scores reflecting that really. Medvedeva rotates so much before actually even leaving the ice, it's muscled, not that impressive.
