Her dresses are always the coolest. An Estonian fashion designer are making them for her.
The program I guess is one of Benoit’s ideas.
He’s a bit like Averbukh. When he hits, it’s so good, but when he doesn’t… And he for sure doesn’t hit all the time….
But Eva-Lotta always likes to try out different styles, and she’s my spirited animal competing at every opportunity.
I couldn’t get into the program either, but not my type of music, so…
 
I also made it through the interview with Litvintsev I posted earlier, with my limited Russian and translation help.

I need some comfort now, because he’s injured, he has a stress fracture in his foot, but he must keep going and skate Lombardia and NHT. After that he don’t know, he will probably take time to heel, because Universiade, EC and WC is coming up. No mention of Olympics. At least he’s not jinxing it…

He’s very mysterious and won’t answer questions about why he moved to Rozanov (but he seems very happy in his group). He won’t reveal his FS music either. “We’ll see in competition”. (His ISU bio is not updated) :sekret:

He enjoyed the camp with Benoit R. very much, he wanted to work with him. He speaks highly of him and his approach to choreography.

After the camp, Rozanov thought his group of skaters had all worked very hard and deserved a gift, so he took them to Paris :love:

Rozanov choose Rach for him. The interviewer says that “statistics shows Rach is not the best music for figure skating”:p (I’d like to see some serious research on that subject). Vlad is not worried. He thinks the music doesn’t really matter in the end, the skating matters more.

No questions about tights or hair…

Morozov/Bagin: clear winner for me. love the peter gabriel part. great choreo and intensity. i'll cheer damn hard! badass looks!
Tiff/Jon: need to rewatch, but liked that the most after M/B. Great interpetation. Loved the final steps.
Khuda/Bazin: Double-bandana :love: Bazin is charming as ****! Her costume is too junior for me. Don't like the program but who cares? :D
Shanaeva/Naryzhnyy: pants :smokin:
Rest: mediocre programs.

Samarin: #missionNHT is on. Running-on-ice, @Ka3sha will :swoon: :p Crap program. Folklore back, now!
Boss: Van is set to go.
Ignatov: Hot as ****. So much drama! Loved it!
Mark: Brilliance. Great costume. So on! Next one ready for NHT.
Aliev: Stunning! I am so into it :love:


Gumennik, Mozalev and Danielian campaigning so hard.
Danielian tears were too much for me to handle :drama:

T/M: Class of their own. I prefer the new SP.
B/K: The door is open for P/K. (not that I realistically expect them to be ditched)

Sinitsyna: Treasure! So good seeing her back!
Valieva: Great suprise to me. Really really good.
Shcher: This SP I really liked.

Danny G hair: :gallopin1 (and even more :gallopin1 that vice and I are the ones bitching about :rofl:)

End note: sorry girls, the guys were so much more diverse and entertaining!

doesnt Daria have some hand or some kind of minor injury.
B/K are kinda safe even if with a headcasey season.

I read this before watching them, and was like "Morozov/Bagin as the clear winners, yeah right". They normally don't do anything for me. But I just watched them and that was so good :eek: Best program they've done imo. The Peter Gabriel part is wonderful, and they sell the whole thing.

Thoughts on the rest coming later.
 
Russian Women's SP (this one I actually woke up in time to watch live)

Khromykh - I had the stream open last night, and it started playing from the ice dance, and I didn't notice it wasn't live until after her, so ...:slinkaway
Nugu - so pretty, though I kind of wish she had a new program. Agree with Boss, consider pairs girl. Though I like Mishina, and Galliamov deserves an experienced pairs girl, not a newbie . So find a different partner.
Daria - very much the kind of thing they always give her, but I like it a bit better than her last couple
Sofia - when you say you're doing Dua Lipa, I am not expecting most of it to be piano acoustic. This should have been more fun
Sinitsyna - beautiful, happy she's back and has GPs, not sure about the dress

Anna - the first part is nicely done, but pretty generic type of thing she always has. The steps were more interesting. Not bad.
Alena - let's get that 3A down by the GP girl. Think she can sell this well once she's not worried about it
Trusova - surprisingly I liked her SP the most of the three. The red hair and dress is a lot though
LaTuk - so good. Stunning dress, nice program. But that's the last time I want to see the 2T SP combo this season.
Valieva - pretty, very similar to her Storm SP. Not that special, but her skating is pretty + gorgeous spins so it works.

Favourite program is Kseniia. Then Liza and maybe Trusova.
