It was raining outside, so we were all sitting in our rooms. Well, Andrei was with me and we were playing video games. That was the only time Liza went to the gym on vacation. @Jeschke We all know that Marin Honda has :gallopin1 -POTS locked up, but might there be a consolation final for Martin Klepoch, Valentin Eisenbauer, Andrea Montesinos Cantú, and the like?

BTW 5 clean triples from Isaev today at Challenge Cup! :eek: I'd love to see her push Schott next season, as I unfortunately don't see any of the other German girls coming close.

Hope this already happens in practice now.

I am rooting for Isaev alone for 'holding on' through hard junior years!

I really loved her FS (thanks for going back to original costume :swoon: ) the last 2 years.
I only can dream of what Pogo could have done with the music :love:

But, then so is his video game buddy Aliev. They must have celebrated Rukavitcin's birthday too much yesterday.

  • Can Nugu and Talalaikina be official Worlds alternates?
  • Can Frangi win Challenge Cup?
  • Can Tuktamysheva skate at Worlds for the first time in 6 seasons?
  • Can Mark make Worlds?

I definitely need to plan out my Sunday morning accordingly.

I'm betting only 2/5 have a real possibility, although, on second thought, both Maya and Daria aren't age eligible for worlds, so 3/5 is a distant, very distant possibility.

Talalaikina doesn't have the Worlds minimums so I doubt she'd be selected as an official alternate. Nugu does, though. She might have to leapfrog Samodurova and Tsbinova, though, who are other age-eligible possibilities with the minimum TES scores.

Well, technically, the Russian and Challenge Cup men skate first on this list...
And then the Russian ladies are up.
And lastly, Dasa skates.

/might have put all this weekend's skating comps on my phone in my local time to keep track of them... :shuffle:

  • As you can see.. she (Medvedeva) didn’t come and the score is a bit lower now

regardless of where Unknown Kid finishes today, he's made his way into the upper echelon of Russian men this season looking forward to the Olympics and 2026. And, while I love Aliev and Ignotov's skating, if they get knocked off the team (well only one would be going to Worlds anyway), so be it. The Kid could do as well toward earning a 3rd spot as either at this point.

Hopefully, they'll all have a healthy off season and be in good shape for next year to fight for those Olympic spots.
