Naumov should be in based on his step sequence in the FS at SKAM alone, it was PASSION and then he caused so much heartbreak when he then splatted during the same competition/program. Of course, he also rocked again in the same program, but was beat by Baby Malinin and a bunch of other guys, including Aleksei Krashonozon overall

Not sure if this is already out there but here goes anyway.

The first thinking about the 1st of the 3 comps that the Russian fed is planning for after Xmas is the following.
(whether it will materialise is another thing of course)
It will be a team event.
The National team will be split into 2 by pulling names out of a hat.
Then they will compete for prize money.
Sounds fun!

All 3 post Christmas comps will be compulsory for all the national team except the Russian champions.

Seems like a nice initiative, but I am a bit worried about the amount of compulsory events, given that most of the athletes are/were injured or had YKW.
Usually it’s just Euros + Russian Cup final (if needed) + Worlds. And here we have three domestic events + Worlds.
