Why Ignatov should be on the team:
He's a Rukavitcin skater
He's pretty
He nearly zayaked himself off the podium.
He skated his free skate to Je Suis Malade. A skater who always dies halfway through his free skate.

What more do we need? For him to borrow Gumennik's free skate costume?

I demand entrance for Gumennik. This program is everything a :gallopin1 should be. The costume, he's so into it and the cursed 3As. :wall:
I REALLY hope he has a breakthrough soon. He's got so much potential and it's really frustrating to see the inconsistency in every competition. Bad short great long, great short bad long, ugh

I know he was injured at nationals this year so I excuse that but Rostelecom, last year's nationals and junior world's :wall:

GRANTED! ?

? That might help your nomination of Gumennik.

Are you guys trying to break Khuda/Bazin up, nominating them to the team like this! (jk I think this time she will stick it out)

Isn’t Ignatov already on the team since mid-September? See post #226
And in the same post Khuda/Bazin was added...
I hate it when I spend time and effort on picking out just the right present for people, and it turns out that they already have it. :(

Maybe we can add #UnknownKid #bronzemedalist who is apparently a promising young artist. You know those are going to be #TTW qualities in the future.
Mark Kondratiuk certainly can rock and splat in the same program, but has he made his Senior international debut?

I just read a Chekhov story so overwhelmingly depressing it has temporarily put me off Russian figure skating by association (I'll recover by tonight) (it's a good story, just... depressing)

Which one?

Which one?

The Name-Day Party. It's in "Fifty-Two Stories," translated by Pevear and Volokhonsky, who have been the super en vogue translators of Russian writers for the last several years. It's a good collection, I'd recommend it. I wish I had something funny and team trainwrecky to add but I'm still too depressed! :)

eta: oooooh this was a mistake to think along these lines now I am seeing all the characters as different skaters, I may need to take a break until Nationals are over!

The international comp rule for seniors is hampering my nominations this season. Can't we make an exception if they competed at the Russian cup series? Just this time. The M&Ms are everything I want for the team, especially the heart break.
