Well, besides the Trophy you can still go for MESS! :D
With everything canceled besides Coupe du Printemps, shortlist deadline is this weekend!
So as long as you can present footage,... :watch:
Oh, I so wish I had footage? My MESS application will be my Naurits spin fail.

So many open pages after worlds are cancelled...
Hase/Seegert new music? Will we ever see it?
Vika/Nika's one chance to be WC gone. No way our cheerleader and her man is opening that window again. :D
Trusova and Shcherbakova will already be in trouble next year, I predict. This was their chance.
Danielian better keep up, I don't want this to be his missed opportunity.
Schott's season ended, my season ended. No lutz for any of us.
I'm being robbed of Bunny Girl, I really wanted to see those programs one last time. In her IG story, she's happy at home with...the bunny. So, all's well still.
All the chasing of minimums for Dasa...and there was nothing after all. Almost just as well she didn't get them.
Not minimums for Comfy Balls either. Don't want to think of the disappointment if had actually got them.
Epic TURSY-pots for Wories after getting her TES, and now she's not going anywhere. Such a shame. But she should win that trophy, that's for sure!
Italian show down. We're being robbed.
Hanyu 4axel, we're being robbed.
Romsky can dry his tears after bombing 4CC, it didn't make a difference in the end.

I don't agree! I could see Vika and Nikita so clearly on top of the worlds podium, I must have been imagining Stockholm. :) People have counted them out so many times, I believe in them. I don't think this was their only chance!

It's such a shame that Danielan missed out on junior worlds now, one of those things no one could have anticipated when that decision was made.

For next season, they should just drop the minimums back down to what they were.

Yelim Kim:(. All that work to defeat Eunsoo, and now she will have to do it again plus battle Haein. I was ready for that battle, but I wanted Yelim to have the Worlds experience first & hoped she might make a good argument for herself there so that the local judges wouldn't slate her behind the other Korean ladies without cause. She even had a shot at securing a top 10 spot and two guaranteed GP berths, which the host countries didn't give her this season despite being ranked high enough to have been given them during the initial selection. At least she proved herself at 4CCs and earned that top 20 SB score.

So what were the best moments of the season that I missed. Curious to know

(I Only watched Euros, Jr Worlds and some GPS)

I caught Panfilova/Rylov's youth olympics winning free through a link post junior-worlds - that may be their best performance of it this season. Akatieva really lived up to the hype for me at Russian Junior Nationals, and Samodelkina and Petrosyan were both also worth checking out. If you can still find them, watching the Russian test skates for the first time, I found it enjoyable to see the early version of the programs and sort of liked seeing them without the fancy costumes. I love the costumes too, but I thought the more athletic clothes created a different experience - I wouldn't want it to be like that always but it's cool to see as a change of pace. T & M really impressed me there, I thought the trajectory of their season would be different.

I watched more skating than ever this season but there are still some programs I haven't seen, like Hawayek/Baker, a lot of the Korean ladies. Going to catch up on all that during this long off-season, as well as some things I missed out in during the 2000s - I was still interesting in skating but in a much more disconnected way than in the 90s and now.

I overread that part :gallopin1
Tursy-POTS will cover 4-5 of them I suppose!
Stay tuned another week; guess I'll be finish by then.

All others: last chance to submit. On sunday the game is over!

They finally fessed up, via Max, that Evgenia has been skating with a leg injury. That explains so much about how things went for them this season, their demeanor, etc. Hopefully, she’ll be able to fully heal now and be back to her old self next season.

Does my update for Torgashev's Wikipedia entry strike the right encyclopedic tone?

I personally think it would be totally cool if they had separate medals for the SP and LP and then another for both combined. After all each programs is supposed to be different with different aims (not really so much under COP though I guess) That way skaters have 3 chances to win a medal  I always felt kind of bad for figure skaters at the Olympics. Other athletes in many other sports could potentially rack up countless medals and have multiple chances while for skaters its a very small window, go or die.

Of course skating is a different sport and its not really possible, I get that, so yes I like the small/pewter medals since its the closest skaters (my favorites ;)) can get to win a medal.

OMG, that's awful! TBH, I think this will be a great opportunity for them to reset and try again. I can't help cheering for them.

At least now they have the Team Competition medal available

There’s kind of crazy days in Norway at the moment. Schools closed, all sport shut down, of course my club competition also got cancelled, the ice rink is closed:eek:ALL rinks are closed, gyms are closed, everyone working from home...
I CAN’T PRACTICE!!!!

Yesterday people started hording groceries, even though the government tells them not to, as the shops will not close and we have plenty enough food.
