KAZ - Well nice that someone from KAZ is snekaing into the finals again.
Gorodnitsky - These fun programs look even more disastrous when they are mistake ridden.
GEO - I liked him, totally robbed on PCS, guess for just being 2nd to go .
CZE - Well the Belohradsky siblings are going nowhere and this one looks like a cute replacement. Hope to see more of him.
Oktar - Damn, he's so frustrating. finally landed the axel and then screws up the combo. If he were higher level I would propose him to the team.
BLR - Tosca? What is this ? 2005?
Gogoloev - Puberty issues still present. Wait for next season, kid.
GER - not memorable.
Shmuratko - Such a pretty style. Maybe a bit tooo pretty, almost cinderella like.
Lee - OK but again not memorable.
Hot Majorov - Stream messed up half through the program. A shame. That music suits him perfectly.
Malinina's child - Im happy andyet feel so old to see vintage stars with their kids at the K&C
Siao Him Fa - Umm , Joubert should teach him to skate with more punch.
Frangipani - Great program, I loved him at Euros, even better today.
Naumov child - ON FIRE!!! Again very nice to see Daddy Naumov at the K&C.
Gummenik - That costume is really cool but doest not go with the music at all. A mess after the first mistake.
Phan - The best Ive seen from him. Kudos.
Yablokov - Gimme petit Danil!!!!
Grassl - I simply adore Richaud's choreo and his flexibility is something to admire. Root for him always.
Sato - Missed most of it but he's a future star for sure.
Selevko - At first I thought his little bro should have been sent but I understand better have your bigger gun at home . Very Happy form him deliverying.
Torgashev - Wow, welcome back Andrew!!
Mozalev - So fluid, it just went by and he's adorable.
Kaigyama - MAGNIFICAT!!

P/R scored over 73 in the short, in a junior comp. Why aren't they getting straight 5s for that lift already?? Anyways, I can't wait to see them in seniors, triples be damned. Sure, they might end up like Fedorova/Miroshkin(still a gaping wound in my delulu heart)...but, 'till the bitter end, as someone likes to say.

Ted's pronunciation of Mikhail during junior pairs has brought back many fond memories of my years in Texas... . No shade intended, I think it's cute.

I loved the opening to the first of the Russian pairs to skate's programs (A/N?). I was just thinking about what a nice classical piece they were skating to when the vocals kicked in. I really enjoyed them.

Vasily Velikov (or Basil the Great as he's sometimes called here, for the Google translation of his name). He's a pairs coach, and he coaches with his grandparents, Ludmila Velikova and Nikolai Velikov. Though it looks like only Vasily is in Tallinn with A/K.

With the new Mulan live action film starting this week, anybody want to make a guess on the number of Mulan programs for next season or the Olympics?

I watched Mulan a dozen times as a kid - it was by far my fav Disney production.
I am no musical fan at all but the original had some really fun songs I can still lip-sync for sure

Be a man, with all the strength of a raging fire... ?

I totally expect Sui/Han going with the 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', 'Hero' or 'House of the flying daggers' soundtrack for olympic glory 2022 and I am totally fine with that!

I was such a sucker for the 2000's Wuxia-movies.
'The Curse of the Golden Flower' Gong Li is everything! So I am happy she is back as bad-ass-b*** for Mulan
