Liashenko should be ahead of Slutskaya and Butyrskaya.![]()
I have a feeling Liashenko will be vindicated in 2020.

Kwan - 5.8 / 6.0 This might be my favorite short program of any lady ever. LeAnn Miller just created perfection in this program, and it felt like an exhibition.

By the way, for the judges who scored live today, I would REALLY appreciate it if you could compile your scores in one post like @skateboy did above. It will help me out compiling all the scores. Thanks!
I have to repeat skateboy's question for all, as it's been so long: in 1998 in a short program, which mark was the tiebreaker, the first or the second?
Also, I thought judges couldn't give identical marks for skaters as skateboy did (ex. Kwiatkowski and Slutskaya both at 5.2, 5.6). Could they or not? Again, it's been awhile.

Wow, I just looked at the official standings and see Butyrskaya in 5th. Gotta say I'm pretty shocked. I mean, I like her too, but she did a whole lot of nothing out there technically and her performance quality wasn't THAT amazing (IMHO, of course).
I even made a spreadsheet so I could just sort. That's how much of a nerd I am.

I had her at 5.3/5.8 last night just to "leave room"/escape the wrath of people commenting on her technical shortcomings... but when I woke up to do the final 8 or so skaters today, I realized she really met the criteria of the 6.0 system and she deserved to be rewarded in comparison to the field)Wait.
Derochie skated to music called "Angela's Angels"? ?

Terry Gannon is introducing Du Yankun right about now

My rankings (I assume the technical mark in the SP decides a tie):
I didn't remember her 1998 Worlds SP from when I had seen it that year, but I was really impressed watching it yesterday. I agree with your comment because I think it's the best presentation I ever saw her put out.I am generally not a fan of Tonia Kwiakowski, but her conditioning and presentation here (reductive program aside) seemed to be the best it ever was.
