Coach Alexei Mishin's camps this summer: https://www.mishincamps.com/camps-2019
JUNE 4 - 16 Courchevel, France (going on right now - ETA some photos: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1242566545893929&id=221165258034068 )
AUGUST 12 - 21 Tartu, Estonia

Also in Fondo (Trentino), Italy, July 22 - August 3, 2019: https://www.passiongala.it/camp/

ETA that a TASS article quoted Coach Mishin: "I will hold two camps in Italy, at the end of June and the beginning of July. The task is to help the Italian skaters," said the 78-year-old coach.
It sounds like these camps are separate from the one in Fondo?

Split:
Ivanenko and Karpov
Zhukova and Biktimirov
Alieva and Kaygorodtzev
Lebedeva and Rvachev
Formed:
Ivanenko - Utkin
Zhukova - Karpov
Alieva - Biktimirov
Lebedeva - Kaygorodtzev

Thank you.

Khudaberdieva/Nazarov - it is very odd that they are still on the list, they split up, Khudaberdieva posted a "farewell note" on her social media, and is trying out with another skater.

Well, Vakhnov is on the list without a partner, and his last one has already competed in international competition with Drozd.

Sakhanovich plans to skate this season in any events they'll assign to her. (she gave an interview last week, if people are interested i can translate it, but it is mostly about her past). She has both SP and FS programmes in works. She is currently at a Training Camp in Italy, with Turenko's team.

I would be interested!

Per Ka3sha's post of the National Team members last season, Leonova was not listed. But she won a GP anyway. So, no, I would assume that not being on the National Team alone does not tell us that the Russian Fed won't submit someone's name.

Panenkova was also on the Junior main team and received both her senior GP assignments, she wasn't held back in Juniors at all. So Tarusina might move up, might stay junior. Oh the entertainment value and less than 2 weeks to go :watch:

I got an answer to my own question. Been told that this team never submitted an official letter to the Federation stating that their partnership has ended; until there is such letter, they are expected to be a team.

I've seen a lot of those quotes from Sin/Kats before, it might be packaged together from prior interviews.

Re: Yagudin, the fact that we’re even having a discussion about whether gay people deserve rights says a lot about the state of our world.
Saying “I support gay people, but I wouldn’t want my daughter to be gay” is like saying, “Women deserve equal rights, but I won’t personally pay my female employees as much as my male employees.”

Now we're talking about treating LGBTQ folks with dignity and respect as "fashionable", and because he's honest with his lack of education, his opinion should be respected? No thank you.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Tarakanova has pictures up of "last day training in Sochi" (if Instagram's translation is accurate). Do we know where she's headed yet?

She has solid plans to train with Panova. She also has been teaching her own master classes, when she was visiting her home town Volgograd, to novice skaters and posted a video of one her girls she was training.

About one month ago she posted a video, thanking her fans for supporting her decision to leave Plushenko and return to Panova, and asked for help in finding a financial sponsor.

Fedor Klimov is now listed on the ISU web site as a member of the Technical Committee for Single & Pairs Skating: https://www.isu.org/inside-isu/about/meet-the-team/isu-office-holders/single-and-pair-skating.

What is interesting is that the ISU has changed the qualifications for this position--i.e., the athlete representative member on the ISU Technical Committees. I was not aware of this until now.

1. In 2016, the elected members of the ISU Athletes Commission--who are elected by current skaters--were given voting seats on the Technical Committees, as outlined in ISU Communication 2043:

Provided that the Athletes Commission members are not actively competing, the elected Skaters will also be full members of the respective Technical Committee with a right to vote (See Article 20 of the 2016 ISU Constitution).

So, that was the first time ever that athletes had a role in electing representatives to the influential Technical Committees. In 2016, John Coughlin of USA and Alper Ucar of Turkey were elected Athlete Commission members and assumed voting seats on the Technical Committees, as confirmed in this ISU statement. ETA: Apparently since Ucar was still competing, he could not assume his seat on the Committee and was replaced by Natalie Pechalat and later someone else.

2. Now in 2019, the ISU Athletes Commission still continues, but these elected athlete representatives no longer receive voting seats on the ISU Technical Committees. Instead, the 2018 ISU Constitution now calls for the Technical Committee athlete representatives to be appointed by the ISU Council (Article 20).

The ISU Council, in consultation with the respective Technical Committee and the respective Sports Director(s) shall appoint a Skater to each Technical Committee. An appointed Skater must have been a Competitor in at least one ISU Event in the 8 seasons (i.e. August 1 - April 30) preceding the election Congress.

As of now, the elected ISU Athletes Commission members are Eric Radford of CAN for singles/pairs and Yuri Helitski (BUL) for ice dance, but neither sit on the Committees. Instead, Alper Ucar of Turkey remains the ice dance athlete representative on the Ice Dance Technical Committee, and Fedor Klimov is now the appointed single/pairs athlete representative on that committee.

I didn't notice this change when the 2018 Constitution came out, and I am curious as to how it came about, and why. In 2016, it seemed like a good thing for current athletes to finally have a say in who would be representing their interests on the committees. I am not sure why the ISU would have changed this rule. Would be interested if anyone has further knowledge/insight.

I'm sure I never read any of the written rules on this, but from what I recall . . .

Ucar was elected in 2016; but then they announced that he would need to wait until he was done competing in order to serve. Pechalat was put onto the committee in his place, and then she was replaced by someone else--I remember someone saying she had a conflicting responsibility but I don't remember the details. Anyway, I think Ucar just began his role after retiring in 2018?
