Agreed. They already look so polished. By the time they get some miles on this program, it’s going to be killer.
ITA and Evegnia and Ksenia both are buff and super fit. I see a lot of improvement in Stolbova's twist. Stas Morozov has really made a difference. I hope Stol/Nov get the COR TBA spot if not, they'll have to do some senior Bs to get the numbers for Europeans and Worlds. Russia has a wealth of pair teams once again.

I love Ksenia and Andrei together. I love how they look and the height difference. I was worried he wouldn't keep up with her in terms of skating but he damn can, and for a tall guy he moves really well.
I think this is going to be great. :cheer2:

Am I the only one who adores Shpilevaya&Smirnov? Those two babes are adorable together. :swoon:

I haven't seen Boykova/Kozlovsky yet. Is there a video?

Meh not seeing it yet TBH. But hopefully this is just a first look

I'm sick and tired with Bolero, but it suits them and the program is good.

Here are the ladies SP test skates: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX6kEEErGl0iOEZ0McRkcrg/videos

I watched them once and tried to avoid the comments.

Medvedeva https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1XCJQtKdgc&: This music is beginning to feel overused. Like how everyone started skating to "Otonal" after Butyrskaya used it. The simplicity of the opening is lovely, but the ending footwork feels slightly choppy to me. The 3Lz is still a flutz -- I would go for the 3Lo instead but with Trusova, Shcherbakova and Zagitova going for high base value (3Lz+3Lo), she feels she might need it. Flying sit improved. Still no layback. I think the hair color is beautiful.

Zagitova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYl-AgyX_Nw: All I can say is this girl is tenacious. She is now the reigning Olympic and World champion so everyone is gunning for her. The program is busy and now in her third senior season some moves look recycled (the back Charlotte), but I do enjoy watching her. I just wish she would hold some moves out more to create prettier pictures; the spiral at the beginning of her footwork was gorgeous over the summer and now it's back to being a throwaway. I haven't always been a fan of her posture while doing crossovers but it kinda fits the languid music.

Samodurova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESmhf-3bies: She's definitely following in Tuk's footsteps and doing more energetic programs. Her build is a bit more compact than her compatriots. I realized that a lot of the busy arm choreography breaks at her wrists, which affects her line. Fun to watch, but may find herself in the middle of the pack.

Konstantinova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-g37ME7nOc: I got serious Sotskova vibes from her in the grey dress. I do like that she's emoting with her face and upper body much more this season. Like Samodurova, I think she'll find herself in the middle of the pack.

Shcherbakova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znvuDzpCq6I: The music felt a bit one-note for me but beautiful flexibility.

Trusova https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AjBVdYBBqw: Of the three juniors who have moved up, this program really didn't do much for me -- at least the first half. She's not very lyrical and skates through that part. The second half though ... "The Hall of the Mountain King" is FANTASTIC skating music and suits her athleticism. The cantilever with just a few strokes into the 3Lz+3Lo is spectacular. Needs a bit more facial expression.

Kostornaia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLDfdSEqj1g: My favorite of the three. This program -- her standout from last year -- is so polished. Watch for the subtle head movements throughout it and the eye contact after her flying camel. I hope she stays healthy all season.

Kostornaia, my favourite as well. Today really liked her, Med, Stolbova and Nov., S/S, S/K and P/M. I have not seen Moskvina's pair, would appreciate link.

She truly is an angel. Usually, I'm not a fan of "angels" but I'm in awe with her skating. She's just mesmerising to watch. :swoon:

I was skeptical about BoiKoz's music choice but that was wonderful!

I'm still not a big fan of that music. But they can sell everything and their skating is wonderful.

Oh chit. You're right, they are blocked. YT sucks now. People should go to Bitchute.
I already have a channel there with history documentaries. I'm opening another one and post all the FS skating I have, which I can't post on YT.
that was really fast. thanks for posting. I did see three of them :)

This instagram account has posted Kostornai, Tuktamysheva and Trusova’s short programs:

ETA: I like this program for Tuk; it has more choreo than normal for her. 3A looked so easy I thought it was a double. Not concerned about her missing the combo at this point.

The lyrical beginning doesn’t suit Trusova but In the Hall of the Mountain King is perfect for her.

Kostornaia is, of course, a delight :swoon:

I liked Liza's new SP. A lot of handography as usual but there were some really nice moments in this program and BANG, that 3A is dynamite!

I was not very impressed with any other program but for sure, Eteri's girls seems to be ready to compete! I still cannot understand why Zagitova does not hold any move longer than a slit second but she still has fantastic spins and jumps so I am positive she will have a good season.
Why does not Kostornaia have a new SP?Is it due to her injury? Anyway, she looks lovely as usual and it will be interesting to see how judges will score her PCS wise comparing to Medvedeva and Zagitova.
Medvedeva's program seems fine but not anything spectacular choreographically speaking. I hope it will grow on me during the season and that she finds concistency early on jumpwise..

Great 3A from Liza. It seems to have firmly found it's way into her permanent and regular arsenal. Ironic that she hit the 3A with no worries at all and made a mistake on an easier jump. But I think that hardly matters this early in the season.

When you look at the rapid turnover of skaters through these test skates from year to year, it's a fantastic achievement for Tukt to still be here and be so competitive. All of her peers are long gone and Tukt is almost 8 years older than the all the little ones just up from juniors.

Looking forward to Liza's FS and I will be interested to see if she will be including two triple axels.

So I really liked Med’s choreo, such a different feel from the other girls.

And I preferred Trusova out of the 3As. Sasha Fierce, that one. Kosternaia is beautiful but somehow affected, IMO.

Zag, sigh. The video was five seconds out of sync with the audio on the OK TV clip and I couldn’t even tell by her skating. She really has some lovely qualities and I would love for a new choreographer to have at it.
