Reading through the list of noms all over again, I am reminded of what a social outsider I am! I have not seen any of the nominated films/actors/etc, nor most of the TV stuff. I'm here for "Killing Eve" and Sandra Oh (although Jodie Comer wuzrobbed! ;) )

I'm not aware of any streaming, but there are a number of live blogs, including from CNN, ABC, Vox, the Independent, etc.

Are we supposed to comment here or in the awards thread? It will help to know.

This awards ceremony is going by breezily. I particularly enjoyed the Asian film joke with Ghost in the Shell and Aloha with Emma Stone screaming "I'm sorry!" and the whole Lady Gaga 100 people in the room thing.

The opening fell flat (their clearly reading off the teleprompter and not looking at the people they were referencing didn't help). Loved Sandra's dress, though.

Haven't seen Bodyguard, but Matthew Rhys was robbed. Thank god The Americans won!!

Loved Olivia Coleman's dress.

Johnny Galecki sounded like he wanted to be anywhere but there.

I agree, they were screaming too. I was extremely uncomfortable watching it fall flat. My husband put his ear buds in after the first 25 seconds.
To be fair, Sandra has never hosted, and isn't a comedian. Though it fell flat, I think she did well, considering her lack of experience. Andy didn't really perk it up, though, unfortunately.

I think the problem was the material.

So much secondhand embarrassment from that opening. I know hosting is such a tough job but that was a miss to say the least.

Don't love Jamie's hair, and I also kind of wish she would be introduced by her title. "And from Halloween... Jamie Lee Curtis, Baroness Haden-Guest."

Why does Patricia Arquette get such a long time to give her speech, but the Spiderverse producers got about 20 seconds?
