I just came back from the ranking competition, after watching later half of senior ladies SP and senior men's SP.

In average, not so bad, but not so good either. It looks like after Olympics, after the regional of the Winter Sports Festival, they got tired. And then there will be the National Championships in three weeks.

The number of audience got increased during senior men's SP. Finally we may have one thousand spectators.

I guess their original plan was just until the 2018 Olympics. Kim even postponed her college application for a year to train in Montreal.

After Pyeongchang, Kim managed to persuade her parents to support her for the next Olympic cycle. Alex also wanted to continue, but I haven't heard from him or about him since.

Things are a bit tighter in the women's singles. Lim won the first qualifying competition with 196.79 points, and You Young finished second at 183.53 points, followed by Kim Ye-lim at 181.44.
In her first senior season, Lim grabbed her first Grand Prix medal at the Rostelecom Cup in November. In the lower-tier ISU Challenger Series, Lim won the Asian Open Trophy in August and finished second at the U.S. International Classic in September.
You is 14 years old, one year younger than Lim and Kim, and will not be eligible for the senior world championships even if she wins the national qualification. Lim only has to finish ahead of Kim to make her senior worlds debut, while You appears to be a shoo-in for the junior worlds, also scheduled for March.

I'm not sure anyone is a shoo-in for Junior Worlds. Yelim Kim, Young You, Haein Lee, and Seo Young Wi all scored within 4.12 of each other at the recent ranking competition.

Haein Lee has signed a contract with Yuna Kim's sports management company All That Sports as per this article, congrats to her! Now that she has signed with them it is highly likely we will see her skate as part of All That Skate which is returning June 6th to 8th in Seoul with Yuna Kim participating as a performer.
