I think you should give up hope that Ross is going to continue skating eligibly. He already told us this is his last season, at the beginning of the season. It's quite wonderful to go out on a memorable high note at U.S. Nationals. Ross didn't get to go to the Olympics, but he had a moment of triumph he will always remember with pride. And that's something even many Olympians aren't able to say, except that they were there and can call themselves Olympians.

So all my sentimental faves for Junior Men (TUR, MAS, EST and BLR) all finished just outside the LP cut. This is the first time I feel like some of the most dellusional optimistic posters here with their hopes being crushed.

On the bright side both Pavlov and BabyRizzo are in the final group and with bronze within reach. Also yay for Irakli making the top 10.
