Brezina has no chance of a medal in Korea, but he could maybe have medaled at Europeans. But he won't.

I have to admit that I used to be not a fan of Pogo, but this and last years worlds FPs are so heartbreaking you just have to feel for this girl. She both timesmade me cry. Poor girl. I so hope she can overcome this and become a strong skater again. She has it in her!

As to Jason: I LOVE his skating, but his costumes and K&C behaviours are to :scream::scream::scream: I mean, he´s a really nice guy if you meet him in person, but it´s just a bit too muchb to be natural, isn´t it? Can´t imagine he´s this way all day long... But his skating is sublime. Now get rid of this horrible FP costume please!

Love Maddi and Zach :smokin::smokin::smokin: And Vannessa und Morgan:smokin::smokin::smokin:

Ehm @pinky166 , what do you work btw? :saint:
#unblockmeontwitter

Don’t use twitter sorry. And I work in operations for a travel agency, it’s been busy recently and there’s been a couple deaths in my extended family recently, and my boyfriend likes being social and dragging me to things even when I want to watch skating. It’s been a struggle for the skating fan inside of me so far this season but it should be better soon! Anyways what a weekend for the team: Pogo, Luba/Dylan & various non members that I still like: Patrick, Alaine, Larkyn, Leftovers, etc.
:fragile: :shuffle: :gallopin1

At least Brezina, Elvis, and Laurine did pretty well, but not well enough to make me :D.

Maybe he would need that call at night :skandal

Pairs:

Overall Im enjoying so much the pairs scene this quadrennial. So refreshing to not have a dominant team and the standings shuffling everytime.

Duhamel & Radford: I like them. Meagan is a true star but their skating does not do much for me.

Savchenko & Massot: Im starting to fear that masterpiece of a Long program is too hard and demanding. I dont know if my heart could handle watching Queen Aliona setting for Bronze a 3rd olympic in a row.:drama::duh:

Peng & Jin: Soo underrated.

James & Cipres:: My screen melts when they are on. I thought they were done a a frew years ago but keep improving. Great for them.

Poor Adria, even you don't care about his feelings
Btw, I don't get Smart/Diaz's high scores and fear for Sara and #monko'sman :fragile:

Hubbel/Donohue are just :smokin: and have my fave free dance of the season :respec:
USA#1

Speaking of Dance, I really enjoyed Kavita and Joti yesterday, Marina gave them nice programs this season

Smart/Diaz do have the spanish fed support. Olivia's case is the easier to get the olympic comitee permission of exception of the imposed lapse between switching countries plus Adria is the one that stayed in Canada , a fed with good relationship with Spain.

Im torn with the spanish drama. Usually after a split I root for the skater that got dumped but Hurtado/Diaz was such a messy one I dont know who did dump who. If have to choose I would pick Sara and Kirill because that's a team with 2 skaters I enjoy. Olivia is a lovely girl but her skating is lacking.

Adria may have to watch Maddie with Zach, but at the end of the day, she goes home with him. Mixed blessings I guess.

Sara/Kirill had the support (scoring at Nats was ridiculous) until they blew the FD at Euros and Adri & Olivia went and killed it at worlds & got the Olympic spot. As for which one to support - if Sara's behaviour in the new team is anything like how she was with Adri, there won't be two teams to choose between for much longer :cat:

Today when watching the programs I missed I realize why Leonova is on the team. She schools everyone on how to epicly bomb, then rebounds like nothing happened. 33 FS TES with 9 deductions in France last year, and then she comes back and skates great at her next competition like nothing happened. The likes of Mura, Pogo, and Chartrand are amateurs in comparison. :drama:

But now the important question, what should Pogo do now?

Retire & do commentary with Lip?

Switch to Ukraine & be a voidy OES?

Go the Leonova route and continue skating for Russia, knowing that she’ll only be sent to B competitions and maybe Grand Prixs?

Eric is good. Give me something else.
He once had hair like this?: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYvyb00AMuJ/?hl=en&taken-by=ericradford85

Umm... puppies? Meagan likes puppies. Eric with a puppy: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYHwJIcgxxJ/?hl=en&taken-by=ericradford85

I like them, but I know their skating isn't for everyone. Meagan's possibly as intense as Aliona. I genuinely believe that when Eric was hurt, she was planning her ladies singles routine to get that third spot for the Olympics as a back up plan.

Heal her back and clean her head.
At first I thought that Tsareva was too harsh yesterday in the K&C but Ana wasn't better herself. She is obviously undertrained, I believe that it's not only Tsareva's fault. They have to sit down and figure everything out.

Yeah I have to wonder whose idea it was to compete. I figure there might be more to the story. If Anna was being stubborn and wanted to compete even though she wasn’t ready/still injured, then Tsareva’s behavior yesterday would make more sense. Idk. To me their relationship seems kinda toxic, in an entertaining way, but still.

Our girl Dasa got silver at Golden Bear:cheer::respec:

Yassssss! :respec:

I think she still needs Worlds minimum TES though.... :(

Yup, I agree. I almost feel like her and Tsareva deserve each other, both seem to feed off the drama. :drama:

Yeah. Even if Anna is being a diva and Tsareva was just giving some deserved tough love, the fact is she her last two long programs have been two of the biggest epic trainwreck meltdowns I’ve ever seen in figure skating.

People on Twitter were comparing her to Butyrskaya and her meltdowns, but Maria would splat 2 or 3 times, she was almost always good for 4 good triples. She never let the program get away from her like Pogo does.

Just watched Luba/Dylan, Patrick, & Pogo in succession again. Probably not a good idea. I feel empty :fragile:

I re-watcbed Pogo again, why, I don't know. But one thing I didn't notice yesterday was that she really doesn't seem to like her gloves: after the double axel fall she takes her time adjusting them, and then after the program is over, she chews them off. :glamor: I want her to rest, recover, and hopefully exorcise some demons at Skate America.
