He was suffering from Parkinson's disease for many years. This sounds like a serious situation, with his family gathered around him, in a hospital in Phoenix. He was admitted just yesterday.

		 For the longest time he lived about 10 minutes away from where I grew up.  We'd see him around town every now and then.  He'd always be out at the ballpark complexes watching the kids play and would sign autographs and take pictures for anyone who came up to him.  Thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
